Bored? Things to do with absolutly nothing...

Hi there... Bored? Absolutely nothing to do? Wish you could stave off that boredom?

Well now you can! Oh yes.....how to keep yourself amused with absolutely nothing at all. Read on...

1) Press your eyes for an interesting light show
(Fun Factor: 1-5 minutes)

See a variety of blobs,stars and flashes. Try to make out things - is your subconsciousness trying to send you a message? Can you control what you see by pressing different areas with different forces? Would it be possible to some how see the same effects on TV? OR, for that matter, watch TV with your eyes shut doing this :eek:

2) Scratch yourself
(Fun Factor: 1-3 minutes)

Go ahead, scratch yourself now, even if nothing itches. Doesn't that feel good?

3) Stare at something, shut eyes, study 'After Image'
(Fun Factor: 2-5 minutes)

It takes about 30 seconds of staring to create an after image, and the image is then viewable for about the same length of time. Fun to combine this one with pushing your eyes.

4) Get yourself as nauseated as possible
(Fun Factor: 5-10 minutes)

Best achieved by looking straight up and spinning around. Try to be so dizzy that you can't even stand up. This is also entertaining due to the 'makes boredom seem a lot better' effect.

And last but not least....

5) Try not to think about penguins
(Fun Factor:1-5 minutes)

This is especially hard because, by trying too much, you remember what you were trying to avoid thinking of. If you try too little, you end up thinking about penguins anyway...

Funny post, I have done every single one of these throughout the course of my life, and still do from time to time. Especially the spinning one. That built my immunity to the spin-out ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. 		2010-01-12 03:23:00

Non of you heard of "The Game"? It's similar to "the Game" only better. Let me explain.

Congratulations you are now playing "The Game".
This Game is also very Simple.

Much like "The Game", you are also always playing "The Game".
Now you are playing "The Game", every time you lose by remembering "The Game" you immediately win "The Game" thus nullifying your loss in "The Game".
When winning "The Game" You must state out loud "I WIN!"
Also when winning "The Game" you have 30 minutes in which to bask in self gratification for having won "The Game"
Within these 30 minutes if you think of either "The Game" or "The Game" at any point you automatically win "The Game" again, thus are free to repeat previous steps as desired, excluding the announcement of winning if desired.
each time you win "The Game" the 30 minute timer is reset, (refer to previous steps for regarding the connotations this rule)
As soon as you mention this game to anyone they too are immediately playing "The Game".
The aim of "The Game" is to rid the world of "The Game".
