Hiding a prize bauble in dissolve material?

Archive: 5 posts

After having LBP gathering dust for ages (Work, etc.) i decided to give it a go over the weekend...
...and am now hooked right to the bag!

How can i completely hide a prize bauble in a strip of dissolve material, as the material doesn't cover the front? (Bauble is 1 deep, furthest back and the strip is 2 deep.)
It just sits there, for the whole world to see, even before the button is pushed.

2nd question.
Is there a brickwork material out there?
I'm currently re working my way through savannah and the "wedding(?)" levels to get all the goodies, but haven't found the sorta thing l'd like for my first level attempt.

TIA

If I'm visualizing this right you should be able to put a thin layer of dissolve in front of the block containing the prize bubble and that should cover it. Just glue it to the bigger block so it too dissolves when you want it to.

As for brickwork material, closest would be the stone from the new Pirates of the Carribean pack. I don't recall any other brick material. You could always make your own bricks using rectangles or stickering a solid square but that would take up more thermo.

Good luck!

You could always emit the bubble into the space left by the dissolve, so that the dissolve is blocking the emitter. With the dissolve smoke it should be hard to tell.2010-01-11 21:23:00

There's also the rough stone wall, I think they're from The Islands. They're not as neat as the one from the Pirates pack, so it depends on what effect you are looking for.

And to save thermo, take a picture and sticker that on an even wall.
