A level facility has been using more energy than usual, you need to investigate it without alerting them!

The completed and heavily improved version of The Wolf (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=16937), a level that has gained a fame of thousands of plays and 4 stars.
Remember that pictures don't look as good when taken in-game!

From what you showed me of it before it looked real good!
I'll play this level asap.

Edit: Ok, that was very, very good. Even though I played it a number of times it didnt make it less fun! The lighting and graphics were superb and although there wasnt that much gameplay to start it did pick up as the level progressed! I really liked the exploding room, genuis.

The room when the lights came on was very atmsospheric.. you did a very nice job there, and the boss.. that was a very good boss. (Did you get the idea from Gun and Ran )

At the last moment when I jumped for the elevator it went off without me so I couldnt finish. I dont know if that was a glitch or my fault, lol.

Im going to finish this level again to see the ending later, but it is already a five star level. Well done!

Looks really cool! Going to play it right now!

Okay! Just played it and loved it!
Every little part of it is so detailed and the gameplay isn't too impressive but the mood and the theme is making us forget about it.
The first thing I noticed is the lightening, when I unlocked the door I was stunned! I was telling to myself:
"I hope he did something big for an important company door like this!" And there you are, opening three big white(or were they orange?) lights and then the door opens
I would have appreciate to see where the box emitter is aiming. Maybe with a little red light or a distinctive lazer, I hope you get what I'm telling you
The classical music was wonderful! It really fit the mood of the mission. Only a few creators use it to posh up their levels.
The Elevator system was clever and seemed easy to do! Perfect match for an elevator.
Lights! Lights were amazing! Especially for the Big Blue room, turning on like in a warehouse, I'm serious when I say I LOVED your level!
I'm glad you made your own enemies. We all know using Mm's would be so easier and would save time. But taking the time to make our own is so much better and players enjoy it more when they know the creator made them by himself.
The security lights puzzle was tricky, I didn?t manage to resolve it but I tried, I really tried!
The Boss Battle was one of the best I ever saw! The explosion effects at the end were a great little touch.

:star::star::star::star::star: and a Lovely heart!

Thank you for your comment! I'll look at what I can do with the box machine. Like your suggestion, I think I will but a laser on it. :arg:

Thanks! I completely forgot to finish that elevator part! But I'll work on it soon, thanks for the reminder. The boss was a mix of many bosses, by the way.

Small update, I have been continually updating this level and tweaking things. I learned that the paintainator will stop shooting after the last part, I'm wondering if you shoot too much paint, it will stop shooting due to a full sticker thermometer...so I had to remove multiple stickers throughout the level, and destroy some parts of the level with lots of explosion marks after certain points.2010-01-14 01:33:00

Should I delete this level and republish it? It has about 500 plays. I was hoping for more...
I'm afraid about all those who hearted the level before though...

Meh, don't delete your levels. It's not cool for hearted lists actually.
Also, if it's the number of plays that bothers you, you can have more simply by republishing more. It's kind of pointless in a way.
Lastly, I never saw this thread before, I'll go play your level. It's attractive.

Ok so this is a chance I spotted this thread. This level is spotlight material. It's simple well done and fun.
My only possible grip might be that the facility style of theme is tired out there but it's fun nonetheless when well done.

You have some excellent lighting there, solid cameras, a very nice pace, the difficulty is right there with the average LBPers. There's so much too love that I wonder how you didn't have more levels on your planet. I also really liked you boss and it's clear patern. The elevator section made me think of MEtal Gear Solid 3's ladder scene. I dunno if that was a reference I was supposed to notice but that's how I felt. Also, it's too quiet in the corridor with the light turning on. When the boss appeared, a voice in my head said "Metal Gear?" lol

Excellent work. Please create more!!

Thank you very much!
1. I did have more levels, if you noticed on my profile, I have locked levels sitting about. They are complete levels that I published a while back, I locked them because I felt they weren't as good as my newer levels. These levels won't disappear though, I'm working on them and heavily improving them. Except for one called "The Mysterious Jungle", that level was like disaster from the start. lol

2. I'll look at that when I can, I never quite thought about it, I think I'll put a eerie wind ambient or perhaps a distant metal noise.

Once again, thank you so much for looking!

Wait, It's not too quiet in the corridor, I was just describing how I felt at that part! lol

Don't change that! Sorry for being confusing.

The level was really good, the boss and the visuals all looked really great. Although they weren't the most original, I didn't see anything in the level that hadn't been done before. Either way it was still a solid level, with some really cool parts such as the close up of when the parts of the ceiling are falling down. Only suggestion I have is to make the pistons that open the red door invisible.

4 Stared and a Heart.

Very fun! I like all of the new elements that you added to the original. The boss was nice, as well as the entire level itself!
My favorite visual spot was the walk across the bridge, with the snow and the haze, it looked spectacular.

I did kind of miss the visual switches that were in "The Wolf", but that's just my own preference.

In the end, wonderful level and a solid 5 stars!!

It was a really good level, the only thing that might need tweaking is the boss. It took the longest time to finish the boss and i couldn't figure out how to dodge the explosive beam of death.2010-01-25 05:30:00

Simply climb back up the steps.

Alright, update! I found out that a lot of people were irritated by how you would appear at the scoreboard if you died at the final scene of the boss. So I edited it so that you wouldn't appear at the scoreboard unless the lift went off without you. You should appear at the normal checkpoint until the lift is gone.

EDIT: Almost forgot! If you beat the level and manage to jump on the lift in time, you can get a key to the old version of this level.
