In-Game Soundtracks for all

Archive: 5 posts

first off, hello i'm back i've been really busy and haven't been here seriously zero. Anyway In-Game soundtracks. Come on i love my music i couldn't live without y music and i'd love to play it when i'm killing people in borderlands or MW2(BTW add me Kmills11 let's play something!) but nothing. I can't do anything, so now i have to drag out my dying iHome to try and give me some music, where everything could just be going through one thing. I know that it's possible to have that i just wish that more developers would actually implement it, or at least give me the option, just my two cents how does everyone else feel about it?2010-01-11 01:33:00

Its simultaneously the best and worst extra for online multiplayer games. this is because you get distracted, and can't hear where there's a dummy firing a silenced weapon. So...its good and bad.2010-01-11 01:42:00

Personally I don't like it. I mostly play action/adventure titles which have their own music to suit each part of the game so there's that. I don't play multiplayer games much and when I do I don't like the distraction.

The only games I like custom soundtracks are sports and racing games and even then I could do without them.

I generally find music a distraction and only really listen to it when I'm focusing on listening to music, trying to learn a song or to pass the time when travelling.

I guess I like silence .

As others have said, it depends on the genre. Please see the Gran Turismo 5 thread for my dream scenario. HINT: It involves grinding gears whilst indulging in "Burn" by NIN.2010-01-11 21:28:00
