Ninjas Vs. PiratesMrgenji http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto-3.jpg"The epic struggle continues - climb, jump and sail your way through Ninja Town to find the source of the Pirate menace." all It's been a long long time since I last published a level so I may be a little rusty. Your journey begins as you arrive in Ninja town to find it under attack by pirates, wasting no time the local populace (Which seems to be made of 9 Geisha girls and one old man - But i'm not judging) send you on a journy to stop them. Soon you realise that you won't be able to stop them yourself so you head off the find The Grandmaster who might have a solution. Travel over rooftops and gentle lotus ponds, through Zen gardens the the sky itself, fight pirates on land and on the high seas to finally reach Pirate town. Pictures below: http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_1-2.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_3-1.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_4-1.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_5-1.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_6.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto_2-1.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll186/Mrgenji/LBP/APhoto-3.jpg This level contains two community items (The Grandmaster and The Chinese Junk). If you want them be sure to turn community objects on before the end! A special thanks goes to Jaqo (for being my muse) and all of the deludge of visitors I had who helped me shape this level. For F4F I can't specify an amount I'll do, but I'll take all requests that come my way until i get Bored ^^ All feedback welcome | 2010-01-10 13:32:00 Author: Mrgenji Posts: 803 |

I tried this earlier, it looks very cool. I got a few minutes in then got to a platforming bit which was too difficult with electrical bits flying around. For some reason I couldn't make a jump and kept falling in the gas. I'm not sure why. But after both me and my girlfriend tried more than a dozen times we had to give up, sorry. I have to say I did like the theme of the level and the art, but the difficulty was too high for us, which is a shame, because it looked impressive. Just remember that you will generally find your own creation far easier than other people, so it's worth getting others to test it. | 2010-01-10 23:05:00 Author: LieutenantFatman Posts: 465 |
Third Lotus flower I'm guessing? I've had several comments about it and plan to change it now, I'd apreciate it if you could give it another go but ofc thats your choice. Thanks for trying it though ^^ | 2010-01-10 23:47:00 Author: Mrgenji Posts: 803 |
First let me thank you for the help with my level, I will be fixing it as soon as i finish this post... As for your level... WOW! I had a great time making my way through your world. The story was funny, and the platforming aspects were quite challenging! I'm hoping to see more of these! Today is my first day using LPB Central and I can tell you that i'm glad i finally started using it! In a sea of millions of BAD levels, its just good to know that there is somewhere that people who actually care about making good levels can find each other and weed out the ones not worth trying. I just posted the second level in my Elemental series, if you would give it a go, i would appreciate it! Thanks again Shawneboi | 2010-01-12 02:32:00 Author: shawneboi Posts: 221 |
Hiya F4F returned. Great use of stickers and decorations e.g. buildings, flowers, rocks etc. Nice combinations of textutes.. buildings to sand to water done really nicely. I like the way your 'routes' just feel like a natural part of the buildings. lilys, japanese lanterns and clouds - very tricky but well constructed and fair. At the end of the straight with the witch cannons, you are suffering from the 'too big sticker' bug. Its flickering slightly. Great boat. You really have the japanese boat style well. Your LBP tree on the Island isnt stuck down. Good characterisation and soundeffects throughout the level Slightly confused at the end because the pirate told us to do something and then the level ended! I might have read it wrong so don't worry if I have. Overall we really liked the level. It was some good platforming with some very pretty visuals. Well done. | 2010-01-12 22:18:00 Author: TheAdipose Posts: 533 |
