Having spent quite a lot of time getting to grips with as much of the mechanics as possible before I start on a full level, I've found that one thing that I'd assumed would have been easy seems to be quite hard to get right. When I make a vehicle with wheels that is powered by motor bolts, it just runs really bumpily. I started using the 'circles' provided with the shape editor and later attempted to smooth them out using the corner editor but it didn't bring about as much of an improvement as I'd hoped. its just not as smooth as the PS3(probly cuz of memory or something). OR maybe they aren't centered properly. What you do is select the circle, press the O button and go into the tools bag, select motor bolt and when you place it, itll be in the exact middle of the circle | 2010-01-09 22:08:00 Author: Unknown User |
Some tests on the PS3 showed that the collision engine sees an unmodified circle as a perfect circle, even if it is rendered as a 20-sided polygon. It seems to be an optimisation that wasn't carried over to the PSP. | 2010-01-09 23:56:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
