I am definitely joining this! I've always wanted to make a floating island. Can the island move by you pushing it slightly? Does the island have to float by itself? (No dark matter?) please answer!2010-01-09 21:05:00

It should preferrably move by itself, and the island can move any way you want!! You could even make a war island if you want, with mounted cannons etc.

I'd love to make something for this but I'm working on 2 other projects at the moment and the deadline is a bit tight. I'll see what I can do though.

Just incase I can do something can you give a better idea of what is 'too big'. Just a rough estimate of the area with relation to the number of grid squares would do so we have a reasonable idea of the size we can go to.

Not as original as mistervista and spiderjew entries (nice job guys) but more a simple representation of one of my biggest dream : having my own little private island with a house in the middle

Just wondering what is the limit in thermometer that your island may use? If you are planning to put ten islands on the same level, then it's not much.
It may eliminate some great ideas or desings. so would?t it be better to put like 4-6 islands on the same level?
