| Saw your HUD tutorial on Cool Levels the other day. I'll be interested to see what you do with it. UPDATE: Did not complete. I want to 5* heart this level on principle, but I can't just yet. I love the fact that you're trying to bring something completely new to the table - let me get that out front, I'm fully on board with this idea. But let me tell you the experience I had. First runthrough, I died in the black stuff. It reduced my HP to zero as I was reading the warning about it. I recommend making the Magic Mouth trigger a camera pause before the player can accidentally do this. Even better, I'd like HP ticking down to make a distinctive noise. You MAYBE could also mount a tiny lethal object to a piston underneath the HP lights. When the player gets hit, the piston extends downward..and the player's controller rumbles, because of proximity to a lethal object. So anyway, I was still jazzed at that point. I rebooted...and the cutscene was unskippable. I NEVER skip cutscenes on first go-round, and this was still a bit of a pain. Second time through the bridge collapse, I ran and jumped left in the dark. I still don't know if a timer or player movement turns the lights on just there. Anyway, I got stuck. Popping ends the level. Further, I can see a Health Pack in the pile, so I'm clearly meant to be where I was. Making the rubble disappear on grab would help me here.
