The roads were covered with the stuff this morning on my way to school. I was driving along, minding my own business when some jerk-off turns onto the road and cuts me off. Well, technically, he didn't cut me off, since there was some room, but with the roads, he effectively did. So, I pop my car in Neutral and pump my brakes, trying not to hit him. That didn't work so well. There was no one in the other lane, so I figured I could pass him (he had pulled over and was driving on the shoulder seemingly for this purpose anyway). That didn't work, either. The car spun to the right so that for a moment I was perpendicular to the other guy. I gave him the finger in the moment I had before spinning to the left, parallel to him again. Couple seconds later, I was in a ditch. Called my mom, she called a tow truck and here I am. Hard to believe it's only 10.00...

Tough luck, man, but inclement weather makes people do stupid things. Best thing to do is always leave early, get a handle for the road conditions just in case, and go with the flow. Now, if only everyone read my comment...

I dont think the roads make people bad at driving (although, it does make it harder) - I think only people with poor judgement drive in the snow. Hard luck dude.

Honestly, I'm just happy I didn't get hurt. The guy with the tow truck said that I was "**** lucky" the crash wasn't worse and I think I agree with him. The car ended up on like a 45-degree angle and if I had been going a bit faster, it likely would have flipped...into a tree on the other side of the ditch.
