I couldn't see any reason why not, but if the controller doesn't have sixaxis then you wont be able to move sackboys head or body.2010-01-08 12:41:00

Honestly, this would be a plus in my book. I'm fed up of having my sackboy look somewhat retarded because I don't hold my controller at exactly the correct angle at all times Please make this feature optional MM?

Anyhoo, there is no real reason why a 3rd party controller wouldn't work. The only thing to bear in mind is that the third party controllers tend to be significantly poorer quality than the sony ones. The response on the buttons just is not the same and it does noticeably affect gameplay as far as I'm concerned. This is from my experience across all three gens of the playstation.

Of course, I'm sure there are third party controllers that will work as well, I've just never seen them and the majority are definitely tat.

I actually use the logitech RumblePad 2 PC controller to perfect results, the only issue is that it has a wire and doesn't have sixaxis. Which actually, I don't mind at all.2010-01-08 13:28:00

Seriously I want wheel support for LBP for TEH LUL!!!!! I have an old logitech gamepad with the exact same button layout as the dualshock and it works like a charm with LBP. I just can't move the head around.2010-01-08 16:38:00

If your Sackboy looks weird because of the way you're holding the controller then you can just press L3 (or is it R3?) to make the sixaxis move his body instead. It's a lot less noticable, should be the default setting really.2010-01-08 19:38:00

Yeah, but he still looks stupid Why can't it just toggle between three options? Seems pretty obvious to me2010-01-08 19:55:00

I have the same problem... my sackboy looks like a zombie running around with a broken neck... when I play with other people I usually switch to the body control, so it's less noticeable 2010-01-08 21:22:00

just wanted to know if there's any possibility to use the Cordless logitech rumble-pad 2 with LBP since it doesn't allow me to use it what so ever, i thought i might be doing something wrong.

anyone know anything about that? especially whether or not it can be used for multiplayer games in LBP
