Who would you most like to create with?

So that's the question. If you could create a level with anyone (on this forum or not) who would you choose?

Geez, that's a tough question. Time is short, and there are probably a dozen people I'd love to create with on here.

NinjaMicWZ and I have already worked together, but I suppose I might hit up Cubbage to create with sometime. Who knows! I think in finding a create partner you both need to have the same standards and expectations. So artistic/style compatibility is pretty important I think.

For example, I'm really picky when it comes to shapes, my lines are always clean, and my curves painstakingly edged to look darn near perfect. I'm the polar opposite of sloppy in my visuals. Someone who does not share the same philosophy would hate working with me because I would inevitably end up editing all their work to my standards.

Well, I've already had the pleasure of working with NinjaMcWiz, xkappax, Jackfcouse, rtm, omegaslayer and comphermc and would do again in a heartbeat, all great to work with and full of ideas.

I started a collab with Wex that we had some great ideas for, it went a little dead in the water but I 'd love to resurrect that.

And seeing as Ninja is'nt around at the minute, probably Ninja, we made quite a bit of stuff together in the beta, both little ideas and levels, and it was all great fun.		2010-01-07 10:39:00

I just can't stop playing their levels. Incredibly smart logic by everyone, mostly comphermc and rtm223, some absolutely stunning levels by jump_button and GruntosUK, and some brilliant mecha action by donkey show.
I have unlimited respect for these guys, and i would give anything to even have a conversation with them. so creating with them would be a dream come true. Hopefully at least one of these guys will answer my call, and let me add them. I couldn't appreciate enough even one moment of creating with them.		2010-01-07 12:21:00

That's a good question.
I would like to have a coop project at some point but besides the people I talk with the most, I don't know who would like to actually work with me.

Also, my disadvantage is that I am player that plays in single player. I am also not posting for posting or forcing friendship on PSN or here. There's alot of people I honestly like around here but pardon me if I don't feel there's a great bon between us, at least not a good one as the ones I seem to witness on this forum between many old timers.

You and I would get along great, or spend the entire time arguing over what direction this point on this bumpy terrain should face, how steep it should be, and how much geometry we should devote to it.

I drove a couple people nuts in the cocreate beta, to the point that I think I made them feel bad, but me and GruntosUK somehow worked like magic. jump_button's artstyle and unspoken understanding was perfect for me, even though we were always lagging or crashing, and jackofcourse is the man - easy to work with, and knows his stuff inside and out. It was always amazing watching Jaeyden come up with ridiculous visual effects like some kind of salavdor dali savant on accident. Working with FULLGORR was hysterical, and I got to help him do some really awesome stuff with his great ideas.

I really would like to work with all of you at some point, but I know for sure I'd want to work with deboerdave sometime, because he's my #1 homie, comes up with technical marvels and crazy ideas, intensely ridiculous and challenging platforming segments (my weakness), but never really does much with his visuals... I think if we were working together on the fly, our technobabble would make more sense, and I could just go around reshaping and revisualizing stuff.

I also said before I want to team up with Jaeyden and gevurah again and really do some kind of super version of the contra levels, much more cohesive and quality throughout.

rtm223 and compher, I can see myself working well with. Perfectionists and wiseguys that they are. Shris or clarkdef would be fun, and I never got to do anything with wex.		2010-01-07 17:07:00

Well that's hard to choose. I would say any of the creators who have inspired me. It's a big list so I won't bother trying to list them all and then potentially omit someone.

I'm pretty flexible in my create style so I think I could work well with just about anyone. Except... I have a hard time accepting to make stuff in unpaused mode. I make all of my stuff in paused mode. The thought of objects and logic moving about unsupervised off-screen fills me with dread! 		2010-01-07 18:52:00

I'm not sure I could co-create with someone, yet it would have to be someone who I'm totally in sync with because I'm a perfectionist and demands to have things my way . I'm a bit anxious on trying it. It would probably bugger with my real life schedule too...

Yet for the actual creating it would be great I think.

I already co-create somewhat, my girlfriend is around most of the time and is my critic and discussion board .

GrantosUK: Everytime I play through one of your levels, I feel like you put a lot of effort in its strucure, so it has a good layer shifting flow and coming back and forth in the level to admire it from another angle. THIS is what I need to work on my levels, structure... and logic of course.

To many to name or rather for me to think of. Everyone & anyone at LBPC would be fine imo. I love being challenged by lbp and often sit here trying to work out how im going to get my creations working, although I eventually figure it out (though most likely not as thermo friendly as it could be) I would probably want someone who's good at logic & doesn't mind someone like myself who is fussy about visuals, aligning stuff up to the grid and likes to take their time to get things right.

In no particular order Adipose, Lous_Desruc, rtm, comphermc, the gide, steve big guns, mrsupercomputer are just a few. But as I said anyone at LBPC as you all make this place and lbp even better.

Hmmm...great question Coxy. Being on the LBPC The Game project has opened the door to be able to work with several members of this wonderful community. If I were to do a series, I would definitely want the following individuals onboard (not in any specific order mind you, as each is a master creator in their own rights).

Lady_Luck__777 (her experimentation with everything in the popit is awe-inspiring)
Takelow (sheer genius with an incredible eye for detail)
Joey (The Great Executor--give him an idea and watch it materialize before your very eyes)
Icey (unmatched visual beauty)
Gravel (King of the Corner Edit Tool--astounding creations)
AJ and dcf (both creators of galactic proportions)
Grant (the stage is his empire merged with outstanding gameplay)
Gilgamesh (Mech-tastically functional designs)
dog-egg (a master at bringing inanimate objects to life)
Morgana (moods of epicness)
comp and rtm (the path of logical enlightenment)

I think the results of a series of levels co-created with these brilliant minds would be incredible.

Hmmm... hard question. I think RJA0000, as he and I can create very well with each other - Each of my weaknesses is one of his strengths, and vica-versa! Though the time zones can be quite difficult!

Hmm, I'd probably say... (I'm not going to include anyone who I've ever created with.)

Jackofcourse - The god of the corner editor. I could probably learn quite a bit.
AntonioLadrillo* - I met him on Quick Play. (The OC/Water Beta version anyway...) Amazing unique visuals.
RZ22G* - Met him when I joined my friend. Amazing with machinery, and my Auto-aim tank could use some revision.
RTM223 - I'd like to be proven wrong about the flexibility-ness-ocity about my logics.
CompherMC - Great level design, aesthetics, and logic.
Kabikaz - Makes amazing creatures. I'd like a copy of "Larence" please.

If anybody on this list is considering adding me, but wants to play my levels first...

Could you tell me first? My published levels are so old and ugly. I'd rather make a little sample level.

By the way, when I create with people, I'd rather not be a leader. I'm better with: "Go over there and make this." And I always ask before doing anything.

And my specialties are 'Special' logic, and natural landcaping. By special, I mean... Logic that does something completely unexpected, like, make something catch on fire/electricity/plasma before dissolving, and stuff...		2010-04-27 20:49:00

I'd like to create with some JP players like yuikiki.

I love the style of JP levels, very attuned to cute details. Yuikiki makes some pro levels (hard), and they look nice with good layouts. I love her style. One of my favorite creators. Well, I already have created with quite a few people of would have liked to probably six months ago but that being said I still want to create with Wex and Morgana.

Wex has great story driven levels and have great visuals too. Something I wish I could do. Morgana visuals are amazing and the lighting an sound effects never disappoint. I would say that they are two great creators that everyone should create with. (Of course no offense to others, these are two people I want to create with and haven't gotten a chance).

Since I am only good at creating logic it would be great to work with rtm and Incinerator (Comphemc has already taught/shown me so much about logic) to learn some more about logic. They are both great at various types of logic weather rtm is trying to create a low thermo switch or Incinerator is create a new tank that transforms into something else, they are always create a new way to do something.

There are so many great creators out there that it is hard to think of who to create with, hopefully I will get to create with some of these people soon. 		2010-04-29 19:39:00

The levels I have on Arcticpolar (either mine or my little brother's) were crappy, but now I am 100% more awesome at creating. Maybe 200%. I thank you, LBPC!

Anyone great at visuals and logic would do, myself, I am really good at stories and such. It's what I enjoy doing, creating my own imaginary worlds, and then turn one or two into an LBP level. I am more or less somewhere between average and good between visuals and logic, but when it comes to stories, I know my stuff.

I'd create with you Pounded. I've always found you to be mature and respectful online, which counts for a lot when you're working with someone. Since I've also formed a friendship with accumulationnone recently, perhaps we could form a creators stable, lol.

Trouble is my crappy ethernet connection can cause lag, disconnections and diverging problems at times in online create. Also, I don't think there are many creators out there who would easily adapt to my brand of adult humour and general weirdness.		2010-06-09 21:03:00

If I'm not thinking of popular creators anymore, I'd say probably somebody who can make nice looking man-made scenery. I can do natural scenery just fine, but I can not make any buildings, or anything else man-made, to be honest...

Ooh, that's tough. I've barely even played with some people on my friends list, let alone created with them..

Anyways, I think These would be my choices:

snowflakecat (weird level structure/dialog, advanced logic, that's right up my alley I guess)
larryjoe701 (his monochrome level was intriguing, and he has some great ideas in his published list)
Creator_B (We actually spend most of our time with eachother, pretty much always being in the same pod or level since the game liek, came out. He actually needs my help to build the logic in his levels. It's also funny when his brother comes in and starts writing guns N Roses everywhere in dark matter. )
Jre (He has cool fireworks/logic stuff)
Lucidess (I've created with him tons, but he's pretty nice, we always have something to talk about, and he's good.
Keldur (I've always had an impression that he's quite a bit funny.)
