A simple way to fix the cool pages.

If we could choose to see the thermometer in the bubble above the level's patch, that shows hearts, plays, rating, author name or level name. So if the thermometer is low you pretty much know that there's not that much effort in it...2010-01-05 17:33:00

Unfortunately this would only work for the space of about a few hours, by then people would figure out how it works and just fill their levels with junk/emitters/boatloads of different materials to inflate the thermometer level.

I don't think that the thermometer level is any more a sign of quality than the ratings and hearts system.		2010-01-05 17:42:00

no i dont think it will work because that "how higher how more effort" is not always true.
some levels are brilliant but made with just a few materials so the thermometer is low but its a great level. and what do you think off all those "free objects" levels those suck but they have a huge theromoter.		2010-01-05 17:45:00

I enjoy optimising things - some of my objects I have remade with no visible change except lower thermo usage.

The reality will be the opposite of what you assume it is for me and other people - the lower the thermo, the more effort.		2010-01-05 17:56:00

I also don't agree. Thermo just is not equal to effort, you easily publish a terrible level with no polish at all and have the level leaking steam from overheating. Reverse is also true: you can make a level with a quarter of the thermo full and it could be brilliant.2010-01-06 14:49:00
