that is pretty cool | 2008-09-27 15:05:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
It would be pretty hard to do an actual song though.... Maybe could have like falling blocks or something to press the keys in the right order. Oh yeah, and the slap at the end was funny lol. | 2008-09-27 15:07:00 Author: GuyWithNoEyes ![]() Posts: 1100 |

I wonder howhe made the sounds? | 2008-09-27 16:03:00 Author: Sage ![]() Posts: 2068 |
I wonder howhe made the sounds? My guess is that each piano key was a button tied to a sound box. Nice to see that you can create musical elements like THAT. Gives me some really interesting ideas that I KNOW many of you Playstation Veterans would greatly appreciate. | 2008-09-27 17:27:00 Author: 1000101 ![]() Posts: 192 |
That is **** awesome! Definitely going to have fun messing around with that. It would be cool if you could have that working overhead (with boxes falling to create the music) or something while the player plays a level. And if every note on a keyboard is in the game then there is no end to the amount of music determined players could create themselves! | 2008-09-27 18:00:00 Author: Burrich ![]() Posts: 1018 |
Awesome idea. Although, as you guys have already said, it'd probably be hard to orchestrate anything that actually sounds good using the players themselves (the sackboys). I think pillaysteven's idea would probably work the best if you wanted something more sophisticated. But this would still be fun as hell to mess around with. | 2008-09-27 18:53:00 Author: Lloyd_Christmas ![]() Posts: 6 |

I like the idea of using an instrument as the trigger to a puzzle - this is intriguing! | 2008-09-28 12:05:00 Author: mrbobbyboy ![]() Posts: 304 |
i think it will be very funny to play a full synthony with 4 players ![]() | 2008-09-28 12:46:00 Author: cesar_neo ![]() Posts: 6 |
I like the idea of using an instrument as the trigger to a puzzle - this is intriguing! Just like Startropics for the NES. No idea if anyone here has played that game, but there was a puzzle in it that is pretty much the same thing (hitting the right sequence of notes on a set of keys). | 2008-09-28 15:49:00 Author: Lloyd_Christmas ![]() Posts: 6 |
wont load for me:o | 2008-09-28 20:45:00 Author: Sonic5411 ![]() Posts: 712 |
That's a surprisingly cool level. Excellent display of how powerful the creation tools are. I'd like the piano to maybe need less force to press the keys, however. (Instead of "sliding" like in real life, simply run across and it does it.) But yeah, it needs some more use to it than just plinking some notes. | 2008-09-28 21:32:00 Author: Mark D.
