MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! With 1000000$? Good luck with that. Ahh San Diego. I remember it! The smell of steak and monks everywhere. Good times. | 2010-01-03 11:53:00 Author: Smart_Alex Posts: 189 |
I would buy $1 million worth of those penny sweets! (Not sure if you get them in any other country but they sell em in England and if you don't know what they are they're just sweets each for 1 English Pence) | 2010-01-03 13:21:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
Buy a house and go back to work. Even a normal sized house would swallow most of that up. A million does not go very far. Especially dollars. It would get you 1 big three bedroomed house here. Then it would be straight back to work. | 2010-01-03 14:03:00 Author: ButterflySamurai Posts: 98 |
Buy a house in cash, no loans. And yeah, that would gobble most of that up where I am too. But worth it. | 2010-01-03 15:49:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
Use it to fund my research for a time machine so I can go back in time and initiate the Grandfather Paradox. Obvously >_< What else would you do? >_> | 2010-01-03 16:30:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
Buy a biggish house. Then build some monster gaming rigs. | 2010-01-03 16:43:00 Author: creelers Posts: 275 |
Pay off my college loans! ^This. Well, sorta. I'd just pay for college to avoid such loans. And with the surplus... Into the bank, I guess. (Interest over time=MOAR DOLLARS!) | 2010-01-03 16:43:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |
I'd have to give at least half of it a way to an organization like Heifer International (http://www.heifer.org/). I just can't keep that much money. After that, I'd definitely buy a home for my wife and I. It'd be a small home as well as I have no need for a lot of space. And then I'd help out a few family members with their debt and invest whatever is left. | 2010-01-03 23:02:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
First person to have a decent answer! You have a heart | 2010-01-04 00:46:00 Author: Smart_Alex Posts: 189 |
First person to have a decent answer! You have a heart If I buy the house straight out, I do not have to pay nearly half the value back as interest. It makes more sense to buy the house and use money earned afterwards for good causes. | 2010-01-04 00:50:00 Author: ButterflySamurai Posts: 98 |
If I buy the house straight out, I do not have to pay nearly half the value back as interest. It makes more sense to buy the house and use money earned afterwards for good causes. I could pay for the house straight up too. I said I would give half of it to a good cause. That leaves me with $500,000. I could easily buy a house with that. Easily. And I'd have a ton left over. Like I said, I have no desire to own a mansion or anything like that. | 2010-01-04 01:42:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
I'd buy you a green dress. But not a real green dress, that's cruel. | 2010-01-04 07:14:00 Author: v0rtex Posts: 1878 |

Like I said, I have no desire to own a mansion or anything like that. I would not be able to afford a mansion either, not here anyway. Interesting tit-bit - they calculated the cost of living recently where I live, for me to retire at the age I am now, I would need just over the equivalent of $8 million. That figure strikes me as high but not high enough to surprise me. | 2010-01-04 10:03:00 Author: ButterflySamurai Posts: 98 |
First of all, i'd exchange it all for Pounds(?) I'd split it with my parents, so they can get things like a new house them, a place for me, and a place for my bro, and a few other sensable things! Then i'd get a few cars between us, Ferrari Testarossa, E-type Jag, Lotus Exige, old style Rolles-royce, Caterham 7....get our MR2 to a show car condition! and thats just some of them! The rest is kinda hard, as i'm 16 and still at school, so i guess i'd problay keep about ?100K for my self so i can have partys and treat my friends! I'd also go on holdyas, Tokyo, Le-Mans(for the race) and maybe LA...not to mention many trips to Europe! Oh, and of course....with my parents looking after the bulk of the money, it'd be in banks and invested....but i'd have to have a Swiss bank account, just because its evil! | 2010-01-04 10:10:00 Author: Calster17 Posts: 48 |
The rest is kinda hard, as i'm 16 and still at school, so i guess i'd problay spend most of it on booze! wooooo! Fixed it for ya :hero: | 2010-01-04 10:49:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |

Think you'd need more than ?616,000 or whatever the exchange rate is now :o Good point, well we could go without a few of the things....such as all the cars, but as long as we get an old Rolle-Royce, caterham 7 and the MR fixed up real nice! and maybe the Swiss bank account..... | 2010-01-04 14:49:00 Author: Calster17 Posts: 48 |
