New Years Resolutions

Archive: 5 posts

Don't think there is a thread on this yet, but if there is, please feel free to merge/lock/delete

Anyways, as you may have noticed, it's almost 2010. Hopefully most of us have had a good 2009, it has been a good year, for the most part.

But looking forward to 2010, what are your new years resolutions?(both on forumwide and your proper resolutions)
What part of 2010 are you most looking forward to?

I'll post mine when i have had a bit of time to think them through, got a History essay to finish first >_>

I've never had New Year's resolutions. For 2 primary reasons:

1. If I wanted to make that change I'd do it at any point in the year, I don't understand what is special about this arbitrary point in the earth's orbit.

2. I'll most likely fail, or change my mind within a week anyway, so I can't help but feeling it's a case of lying to myself. And I don't like being lied to

Is always interesting to see what people come up though

Learn my C++'ings I suppose, do well in exams.

Pretty much agree with rtm though i'll probably just change my mind or most likely exams will just overtake all my time to learn c++

I think in 2010 I'm going to spend more time with family and friends, and continue to work on having a more positive outlook on life. 2009 was a terrible year for me, but once you've hit rock bottom the only way to go is up.

LBP-wise, I'm going to get SackMech finished in 2010. That way I can work on even more crazy stuff.
