First part of a planned series about a badass warrior vanguishing demons in a Fuedal Japan type environment. Very atmospheric and a mild challenge during some portions. Never unfair.

This is my first real attempt at a complete level and I maxed out my level creation thermometer thing. I tried to have a decent challenge but I also wanted people to actually complete my level.

The highlight of this level is definitely the hall of spikes you travel down at one point. If you keep getting killed at that part, remember to search an earlier portion of the level for a clue (REALLY easy to find, unfortunately most casual players don't bother to try).

There is a hidden race you can activate but I don't know if anybody will bother to find it.

What I really want to know is how difficult is this level? I wanted to go a lot tougher but I also know some people who create really tough levels and have NOBODY play their level through to the end. I kinda feel the hall of spikes is gonna turn away the majority of casual players but that section is just so badass I just had to put it in!!!

I do plan to make future installments of this series of levels but I want to make sure people will play them. And I really want to know if the next level should be easier or harder and what parts of my level were boring.

Please give this level a shot but don't expect a Media Molecule level of awesomeness in my level (although the spike part should be right up there). Enjoy!

p.s.

What is a good way to make point bubbles float in the air. Are rods and strings the only way?

Well okay, the level does some things right such as the spacing inbetween the air bubble generators and some lightning in the sea of blood portion of the level.
However, you somehow managed to max the thermo? How? Maybe you need to work some more with the grid and corner editor.
The enemies are kind of nonthreathening, and only really a bother if you actually kill them (in one play, one of their blasted off spikes kept killing me as I respawned.).

Also what was up with the boat/car thingy on the end? I don't know if it glitched but it really kept trashing around.

It's a good effort, with many things going in the right direction. So while I wouldn't rate this one very highly, there's certainly something you got going there.
