PS3 broke. Help? It says "The hard disk?s database will be rebuilt."

| All it says is "The Hard Disk will be rebuilt." or something like that. I think that means the data will be wiped, but I think that won't be too bad. Just all my LBP story mode stuff. How did you turn off the PS3? When I turned it off from the back without pressing the PS > Turn off system, a message appears when I turn it back on. Maybe that's what you did. | Locking, but remember to never just turn your PS3 off with the switch on the back. That's like performing a hard shutdown on a PC. It can take a toll on the hardware after some time.
