Reasons Why MW2 is so Awesome

Okay, I'm here to set the record straight. Hwere are some reasons why MW2 is such a unique First Person Shooter.

1. Single Player Campaign is Very Creative. I know it's a little on the short side, but nice level ideas, and creative features that make it so awesome.

2. Multiplayer. That is why so many people are still playing Call of Duty 4's multiplayer. The maps, perks, points, killstreaks, weapons, gadgets, and teamwork features make it so great. And they brought everything into MW2, and added some new perks and features, and more maps to make it better.

3. Graphics. The graphics are amazing and are only matched by Assassin's Creed II and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. In MW2 they have texture streaming, which enables Infinity Ward to make very detailed enviroments whenever you're fighting through a level.

4. NEW Spec-Ops mode. An extra challenge that invites players to take on many obstacles and challenges such as disarming bombs in the Favela map, or taking out certain people or items in a crowded area, and also watching out for civilians.

There. There even might be some other stuff that makes Modern Warfare 2 so great. It's a Call of duty game, so what can you expect? Pure awesomeness, that's what.

besides, MW2 is NOT awesome.

agreed, but it seems like the only good thing

Teamwork? in a COD game?!
either way, the mw2 maps suck hard, COD4 was way better.
and they made it too noobfriendly

are you serious here? yeah the graphics are great and all but it just DOESN'T reaches the level of U2 or KZ2.

zombies beat spec ops for me by far, you play the missions and you're done. no replayability.		2009-12-27 20:50:00

Single player is fun, but the plot is terrible. And the game isn't "unique" in any way, it just takes the basics of shooters and does them better,2009-12-27 21:06:00

My friend, MW2 is not awesome.

It is horrible multiplayer wise, the perk system has been completely unbalanced and there are very few good maps. Infinity Ward have made the game so noob friendly it is unbearable, basically all the guns have no recoil and kills you in 2 shots, you don't have a chance anymore. MW is better because it is only a tad noob friendly, and those noobs are all gone. MW has better maps and weapons and a balanced perk system. However, Infinity Wards best game is hands down CoD 2, IMO.

Was gonna write a long post but I'll just refer you to oldage also adding the fact that many multi/single player games (that is containing both) have much better storylines and actually have a story worth playing more than once (See UC2, Killzone2 and MGS4 to get you started).

Also whenever someone says graphics are amazing in a game and uncontested by nearly all competition I direct you to crysis warhead.

You know all those bits in mw2 where light beams form as the sunlight goes through windows and holes?

Reasons why I think MW2 is not awesome:

- It's just another war first person shooter
- It's NOT original. They just copy stuff from the real world. (I like games that try to be creative)
- It's not creative
- it stays the same
- not awesome
- people create stuff from the real world and think it's awesome
- i hate it when a massive amount of people like a game that's not creative at all.
- I might be wrong with all these things, so just say it, but if you don't come up with a solid reason then you'll just have to admit that you're not creative at all and close-minded.

Pros.
+ If I really try hard, i tend to have some fun, though the fun expires after 10 minutes if initiated.
+ very good graphics.
+ ehmm... no i can't think of any
