"Cause C?l?bre", Part I of II

Archive: 11 posts

For the first time, you experience total silence in the city of El Amor. All of its citizens are indoors, spending precious time with their loved ones before all comes to an end; the capital stormed, opposition wiped out, leaving only those who willingly dedicated their life to Jos? Ram?n and his extremist political activities. However, you have a different idea in mind.

Taking a group of loyal brothers, you dedicate yourself to preventing this invasion, rising from the dark and putting an end to this terror - bring forth the renewal of hope amongst the people of El Amor.

Uh, yeah, this is where I wanted Perpetual 2-4 to go it really didn't turn out right. Sooo...

Not finishing perpetual 3 as a level dissapoints me a bit How come you have time for this and not for a part 3 ? I think you just want to make something different than perpetual so be free to make whatever you like, its not like you have to make a third part.. Any level or theme is great and by the looks of this Gothic Town I think you have enough time to make levels

Edit: Oh yeah the thread was about level names, well im not very good at level so I save you some bad names, good luck with the project!

I made that it 2 hours a couple of days ago. I won't even have that much free time in a week next year - 17 exams and ****-loads of coursework.

Honestly, I think the title is a bit misleading. It's not gothic, per-say...Picture my Katatonia sig but a little bit more modern-looking

And it's not that I don't want to continue Perpetual, 'cause I am via music.

Petra was a famous ancient stone city - does that work?

Failing that, the pic in your sig reminded me of a famous painting of Dresden during the WW2 bombings. how about that?

Leaving out the real life references you could name it after some sort of rock or goth reference.

Rubble City.
Stoneville.
The midnight village
"Granite"

Obviously, any of these said in a brummy accent would add extra 'goth' to them.

I also will be disappointed that perpetual won't be continued on LBP. I'm sure your music will be good too, but we're here because we enjoy playing good LBP levels

...Thanks to all who have suggested, but I think I have my finger on a name; after reading Adipose's post about Dresden...It made me think a lot. Immediately I listened to three different Katatonia albums and the visual outcome is quite scarily different. The pictures above look quite outdated, trust me, the level's very dark, melancholic and quite isolating...2009-12-31 21:56:00
