70 minute long video review of Star Wars Episode 1 by RLM (Warning: bad language)
Archive: 17 posts
Ok, this video review was just hilarious, and also made a bunch of good points on how much Episode 1 doesn't make sense and WHY the original trilogy is better. So yeah. Just remember, it has bad language, some "creepy old guy" jokes, and is over 70 minutes long, so don't see if you are around someone you don't wanna see all that stuff and all that. Still... while it is hilarious, it also makes good points as to why the prequels are horrible. So yeah, enjoy- I know I have, I've watched it twice fully in the past two days XD Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKtZmQgxrI Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG1AWVLnl48 Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdQwKPVGQsY Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOlG4T1S2lU Part 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBvp1r2UpiQ Part 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORWPCCzSgu0 Part 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIWKMgJs_Gs Yes... it rawks. Hilarious!! The voice he does for this is brilliant!! "Protagoni...protagonist." Just about halfway in part 1 but really enjoying it. Edit1: Ewan Mcdonald! | 2009-12-26 20:44:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |

Well, I just happily wasted 70 minutes of my day on this. Well worth it!! | 2009-12-26 22:09:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Well, I just happily wasted 70 minutes of my day on this. Well worth it!! Likewise. When I started watching, I really didn't expect to sit through the whole thing, but it really was entertaining enough to keep me in through the whole 70 minutes. As mentioned before, a more pointless exercise is hard to find, but holy hell was it funny. | 2009-12-28 09:07:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

Looking forward to watching these. I'm already sure I agree with everything this guy will bring up though. It's definitely preaching to the choir, but surprising how entertaining it is, especially seeing a lot of the behind-the-scenes footage being placed in hilarious context. At one point he ponders how Lucas only surrounds himself with "yes men", how nobody around him remotely has the balls to challenge him, instead being ridiculously eager to please him no matter what. They show footage of these incredibly young guys watching him in fear, terrified, as he examines one of their concept sculpts - an alien bust that bears a more than striking resemblance to the man himself. I laughed my *** off. Another highlight is when he interviews other star wars fans, asking them to "describe" various characters without using physical characteristics. 3P0, Han Solo and other old trilogy characters are given royal treatments, described lovingly as rich, entertaining characters. When asked about Qui-Gon or Amidala, on the other hand, everyone is rendered completely speechless and without a single descriptive. | 2010-01-04 07:44:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

Don't forget the moment when Ben Burt tried to stand up to George and failed miserably. | 2010-01-04 15:57:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
That was probably the best analysis of a films flaws I've ever seen. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Seriously funny stuff - absolutely accurate and thoroughly logical breakdown disguised as comedy but so true! EDIT: Thanks Zwollie for insisting I check this out! | 2010-01-05 17:27:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
