All in all a good Christmas it's just a shame no good games are out that I wanted. I will have to wait for my Bioshock... my precious...

I got 20 bucks yesterday, and used it to buy all the DLC items I missed. (Monster Kit, History kit, Pirates kit, Music kit, and a costume with the two extra dollars. )

Other than that... I didn't get anything else. I come from a rather low-income family, and with this **** poor economy, we don't have a lot of money to play with. But I am grateful that I saw all of my family, and we had a great Christmas dinner. Also, my grandmother is expected to pass away soon, so I'm so glad I got to see her for the last time.

It felt more like Christmas this year than it has in the past five years. Not because of the gifts, but because the quality time I had with my family.

Merry Christmas to LBPC and Happy New Year.

I just got a few very small knick knacks for Christmas, we tend to give our bigger presents around new years over here.

I sorta already know what I'm getting though, a new printer/scanner combo.

I got about 25 shirts (no joke) from my dad's side of the family and a cruise from my mother's side of the family. Also, having divorced parents (both remarried) with lots of relatives on every side, has its benefits. I've accrued about $600 from various relatives.

All in all, it was a very great holiday. I even got $40 on PSN from my girlfriend's parents, so I'll be gadding about in water with some new threads. It will have to wait until I get back from my cruise, which officially begins Sunday morning. Bring on the sunburn!!

Also, Joey.... DAAAAAANG!

This thread is too sad for the less fortunate people in this world

It's the spirit that counts, and what I will say is that I met with my mom's side of the family on new year's eve for the first time in ages and it was one of the happiest times in my life.

Resistance 2?

Your brother gave you his Resistance 2? So you don't share video games? What a strange world you live in.

My mops and pops got me a whole bunch of recording equipment. Haven't found out how to get it to work on the program yet, but I really appreciate them supporting my musical endeavors.

Oh, and I got Uncharted 2, which so far has been amazing, my bro got Demon's Souls, and I also got a new phone. AAAND 125 bucks.

Christmas' aren't usually so great at my house. My parents don't like their in-laws, rarely good christmas weather, etc.

But today I got to go to a party on my mom's side, and see my new baby 2nd cousin, as well as play with the other 2nd cousin's (I'm really shy and quiet in public but I love playing with the kids) Even though it was quite a racket, once they found the kareoke machine  They played Wii Sports most of the time while I watched and they occaisionlly play my LBP PSP or Scribblenauts, watching all the goofy things they do. One of them made the girliest sackgirl you ever seen, all Pink costume parts...and a demon tail, while she spent almost an hour completing the 1st 2 levels, and for huge laugh I let her try jackofcourse's Climbing Caterway (excuse the spelling, too lazy to look at the actual name right now), She went nuts on the beginning area along lol!

I got a lot for Christmas, but the best present I received the entire day was from my husband, and it only cost him 3 dollars.

I have this vintage pinecone ornament for my tree. I've smashed it probably 3 times, and this year it got smashed beyond repair. I was really upset. My husband put it back together the best he could, but there are gaping holes in it and everything.

Anyway, he found nearly the exact ornament on ebay and gave it to me. I was overjoyed. It was really, really a great present.

I value the thought put into the gift rather than the monetary value put into the gift. That's why we have a strict "buy me jewelery and you die" policy in our house.

Pants from my mother >_>

Also, my grandad got us a sexy digital HD DVD recorder thingy, and I'm the only one who knows how to use it
