Dr. Yarudark's Lab [from the beta]

| Dr. Yarudark's LabMorgana25 http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_12-1.jpgTHE PLOT: Dr. Yarudark reanimates glitches (ala Frankenstein) but aliens have landed and caused some of his swamp lizards to mutate thereby making their parts useless in his glitch experiments. Rip the heart out of the last mutant lizard so the Doc can get back to messing with glitched stuff in his floating castle. (Don't like it? I'd love to see you try to weave a narrative around so many objects and have it make even a tiny bit of sense. LOL) Check out Wilson too. We love Wilson - good Idea Awesome Possum! all Just published a level in the beta. "Dr. Yarudark's Lab" (no he wasn't in the beta but his name was - sort of my way of paying homage to the best bug finder I know) Worked on by: Phort, Xeno_Destroyer, TSFRJ, NinjaMicWZ, Jaeyden, xkappax, , Ossum Possum, GreenPikaNoob, Jibblejab, yonis, Tyler and I used a lightining machine from graygoose. (brought in from regular LBP) Many many hours from many people! Special thanks to NinjaMicWZ, Xeno_Destroyer_FSTRJ, and Phort for extra work, lots of trouble shooting and always staying on task when asked. If I've forgotten anyone let me know - it was sort of a chaotic project so I'm sure I've missed someone. My apologies in advance. Check it out if you're so inclined. | this is the level where i found you Morgana! Yep - this is that one. I met so many people working on this level. It was really early in the beta and anyone who wanted to work on it I let in. | While I'm happy with an influxx of playable levels... I gotta admit I'm starting to get a little p!$$$'d at having the Beta thrown in my face daily after suffering through not being part of it in the first place. -colourful lighting on this level... -colourful characters... (Wilson, was completely lost on me...) -colourful story. -colourful tale concluded by an excellent end mechanic. -solid gameplay Note: While enjoyable, I do not think this level is worthy of the Morgana moniker. There is a certain consistent level of artistry I have come to expect from a Morgana-creation... just like a Wex or Icy or Mother-Misty or Kornddawg or Mm. Creators usually will create a pallet from which they deal... a comfort zone, a home. | One thing to remember about this level, i think, is that it wasn't just made by Morgana. This has the touch of about 10 people working on it. That's why it doesn't feel the same as one of her levels. I still find it an enjoyable level, regardless. ^_^ ps - something else to remember about these beta levels: they don't necessarily represent the best polish and care, because we really didn't think we were going to be able to keep them. These beta levels were mostly about having fun, and that's what littlebigplanet is about. | Yea, what xkappax said The thing about the OC beta levels was that I treated them like a group effort so I didn't edit and design this one as if it were my level alone. This one especially was a cobbling together of a bunch of different styles and skills and I wanted to honor everyone's efforts and left much of it exactly as the creators involved made it. Glad you found something good in it though. | This level is hilarious! I giggled my way through even though (I think) it is supposed to be a horror level? I thought I could see traces and bits of some of the collaborators and it was amazing to see what online create could bring to the LBP community - sheer madness, that is. I love seeing the silly side of you Morgana! | Fine collaboration. A potpourri of sorts, and fun too. I liked the plot which encouraged me to reach the end. Are horror levels supposed to be this funny? We all can understand the difficulty of working with many people in the co-create format but it's apparent from this level that you all came together and made it work. | Well i'm honored that you and other great creators made a level in my name, and about the creativity thing, of course you could create something like that, you could come up with designs much better than mine, i've played your levels and i'm pretty sure you beat me by a long shot in character design.
