New feature ashore?
Archive: 9 posts
I was mucking about with the 100 layer glitch object in the Caribbean beach theme, when I noticed something very strange. When I moved the object over the palm trees IN THE BACKGROUND, the leaves on the tree moved and bent as the object moved over them! See for yourself in the pictures below. Could this possibly mean that Mm have programmed new backgrounds to react with an extra layer feature!? Judge for youself! | 2009-12-24 08:09:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
That's interesting, hmm I'll have to try it out as well. | 2009-12-24 08:23:00 Author: TheFirstAvenger Posts: 787 |
I don't think it was done with the layer glitch in mind. The palm trees move on their own anyway, so I'd say it was just incidental. | 2009-12-24 11:03:00 Author: TheSeraphor Posts: 73 |
yeah and if they programmed that layer to interact they wouldn't let it go through the trees it looks silly | 2009-12-24 11:28:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
The gardens did this too, probably did it long before any layer glitch. | 2009-12-24 17:15:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Some objects in the background may have been reformed from other objects we can use to have the same characteristics. | 2009-12-25 21:20:00 Author: FreeFlyzz Posts: 265 |

You are finding out a lot of neat little things these days, still doesn't beat your beta discovery though. Quite interesting, will check this out in game. | 2009-12-25 22:21:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Yeah.. I tryed it with every background that has deforming plants and they all act the same; it seems to be because the plants have been programed the same as decorations, as they deform exactly the same way, I think. | 2009-12-26 12:10:00 Author: Unknown User |
it doesn't mean a thing. Would just like to say the 'wilderness' background has always done this as well... at least I think it was Wilderness... bah, any rate nothing new. | 2009-12-26 14:17:00 Author: Gravel Posts: 1308 |
