I've been going after the LBP trophies I missed lately and I've come to the conclusion that it's pretty much impossible to get both survival challenge score trophies from the MGS and PotC packs. Anyone have any hints or tips about how you got them?

I have the same problem. These are VERY hard levels, I cannot get the trophies myself.

I'll admit- I actually cheated to get the MGS trophy. I played it in multiplayer, so we managed to get a 2X combo... still my partner died fairly early, so I got most of it myself... so that still counts, right? ... RIGHT? D: ... but yeah, if you WANNA, you COULD play multiplayer with someone else fairly good, so you can get multipliers... ... If you wanna get it the right way, I have no suggestions :kz:

Hmm... Maybe I'll try that later... I forgot that it totals both player's scores. I've barely even tried the PotC one. There is pretty much no hope on that level.

It just takes a bit of practice. The pirates challenge frustrated me at first too. You said you barely tried it, of course you didn't get it yet. Once you get used to the swimming controls, and start to memorize the combos it's not as hard.

There's also a huge help from the PotC randomizer, because it's not random at all: I memorized the score bubbles' position and managed to do a x12 combo; for the mgs pack, when the game gets harder I start firing blindly and focus only on dodging.

I have a tip i used for the MGS survival challenge. Aim the paintanaitor up in the air then use 2 fingers to keep rapidly firing now don't concentrate on aiming completley forget about the firing (But keep firing if that makes sense) And just concentrate on avoding the plasma balls. hope i helped

It's best to try these levels with multiple players when trying to obtain the trophy on these levels. You could also try to glitch the MGS level: You can also grab the lights in the MGS survival level, if you grab the ones on the left and drop down you'll end up at the bottom. I also know that you can grab the sea monster in the Pirates of the Caribbean challenge.
