Is there a way to only fill just 1 part of an area of ur lvl? like i just only want to fill a bathtub and a sink with water and not the whole house. or does it only let u to fill the whole lvl up with water?

It's flat horizon of water, it can't be placed in containers or cups.

aww..... that stinks! well ty very much! i hope Mm will make a water kit that will let u to fill up a cup or containers..... but its an awesome water kit.

It's been said many times before it wouldn't be able to handle water that is in containers it would be too much...

But trust me... water is awesome... It actually has a lot more fluidity than you might expect... you can create some large splashes... and even "tweak" a wave setting... and even if you have been in the beta (like me) it is really a joy to see some water used PROPERLY... unlike most of the levels on the beta cool pages...

Give it a couple of weeks and you will see amazing things being done with water. Like everything there has to be limitations to it. Its up to us to work around those limitations and push it as far as it can.

I've been wondering, in the pirates levels from MM they use water falling down as watefall, how did they achieve this? I could swear they made it but don't know how it can be done.

i made a waterfall effect by rapidly dunking a piece of material in and out of the water with a piston, its really cool. As for a waterfall in the levels the only water falling that was shown was actually just glass.

I'm going to be getting the water pack when I get a PSN card at the weekend. I was wondering if you could make small portions of the level underwater. i.e a bit where you have to swim in a underwater cave to get to another bit? Nero.

They used glass and quite frankly it looked amazing. I'm going to be getting the water pack when I get a PSN card at the weekend. You can set the water to basically any hight (I haven't checked the upper limits yet) and can build in and out of the water.

I already made water logic, where the water replaces a piston and moves cardboard up and down. It's not very practical, but a level using it would be pretty cool.

Yeah I think they used some thing coming out and in the water to create splash effects like a waterfall. Will try this today and post my comments here. For those who want to play with the water physics, I made 2 levels in water (water race and water test (don't remember the name exactly). I put in a lot of different materials in there to try out the new physics.
