Noticeable difference in tablet pressure sensitivity

This is a question for all those who have a tablet.

Can you notice any difference between 512 and 1024 levels of pressure?

I was looking to get either the Wacom bamboo pen or the bamboo pen & touch

the pen is ?50 and the pen & touch is ?75

for an extra ?25 I can get:
an extra 512 levels of sensitivity,
touch ability on tablet (not that useful as i have macbook)
eraser on the end of pen
