LOL. *sniff* Oh, I'm truly honoured Cubb. It makes every one of those 170 hours I spent on just one level just that little bit more special! I thank God and the Wobble Bolt, and also dedicate this award to jwwphotos who ended up having to playtest the stupid thing for approximately the same amount of hours, and Kiminski, who is currently banging her head against a wall somewhere after moving her level for the 14th time and still having freaky pistons. Lol. Yes, but I don't think it counts since I nominated myself. And I don't necessarily want to be remembered for the best waterfall that I didn't make. lol. My husband jokingly said that he wished that Crystal Cave won a sackie for "best waterfall in a level" ... because it's the only thing in the level besides the purple ghosts at the beginning that we didn't make. He also said that he wished Centralia won a sackie because he has his name on it and not mine, and that, to him, was hilarious. Wow. My husband is kinda mean, isn't he? So, I'll have to add these two awards: Meanest Husband Award: Catiers Best Waterfall that WASN'T stolen: Vmethos in Seal of Silvraen, Shadows of an Ancient Era | 2009-12-21 20:32:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

Beta contest 3 was somewhat of a memorable occasion as I had the PS3 tied up so much during that time that my girlfriend went out and bought our 2nd PS3. It was kinda funny to tell Killian while working on it.. "Uhh... need to take a break for a bit. Have to hook up the 2nd PS3 and get her data pulled over to the new one" | 2009-12-22 16:16:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |

We also purchased a second ps3 back in November of last year because Larry wanted to play LBP, I wanted to play LBP and we were both fighting over it. So, now we have two copies of lbp and two ps3's. I guess you and I should be nominated for "most ps3's purchased because of LBP" ... what do you say, jww? | 2009-12-22 16:25:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

I wonder who would win the prize for most number of deleted, unfinished levels? Or longest-running, unfinished project? I still have a chance! I can assure you with quite some confidence that I'd win that by a long shot | 2009-12-22 16:57:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
I will second that. ARD would definitely win that category. | 2009-12-22 16:58:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

@gilgamesh: Yes, it's yours! TAKE A BOW! you earned it! (actually, i'm kidding. that's a mean award to give yourself. Think of a positive one!) And yes, I was going to mention Jagrevi, too. 19 levels, and he's been working on it a year. Can you beat that, ARD? | 2009-12-22 17:00:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

The award to the fastest creator! ... | 2009-12-22 17:18:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
^I considered myself pretty fast... a week or two tops for something, 1 day for L.O.V.E. and 4 days for Snowfield... but I'm pretty sure GruntosUK and Wexfordian have fastest gunslinger on lock when it comes to real levels. I wonder who would win the prize for most number of deleted, unfinished levels? Or longest-running, unfinished project? I still have a chance! Speaking of that. Jaeyden has tons of levels that are like 75 to 90% complete, that are totally awesome that he just gets too apathetic about to finish, or is onto the next exciting idea/all-new crazy visual effect or discovery he can come up with... I counted what would have been around 5 or 6 epic classics, most notable is the locked Abyss 2 IMO. I want to see him reimagine, rebuild, and finish them, and even maybe make a 3rd Abyss all with real water now that it's out. | 2009-12-22 17:19:00 Author: Unknown User |
He couldda called them the truphnies. Only if he asked me first! | 2009-12-22 20:57:00 Author: IceMaiden Posts: 1057 |
Icey is the founder of the whole thrumpnies thing. (i have no idea how to spell that) ... she needs to get an award for that. | 2009-12-22 21:06:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |
Do I get an award for gratuitously keeping the thrupnies conversion alive the longest? Next award.... MOST REALISTIC USE OF A PLAY MECHANIC Now, this award is special because it represents the creators ability to build a play mechanic where experience in real-life translates properly into LittleBigPlanet And the winner is...... Wexfordian for the pimple popping segment of "Mind of a H4Hr"!!! Yes, as a teenager I suffered from ACNE. For years I struggled to pop the little buggers before heading off to school.... and became extremely proficient. This play mechanic translated well to LittleBigPlanet, where my pimple-popping expertise helped me to gain advantage over the other tens-of-thousands of gamers testing their zit-exterminating skills. Yes, I triumphed! And as far as I know, the score still stands today! Thank you Wexfordian for creating the most realistic play mechanic! Of course, getting lice out of my childs hair also translated well into Freaky Frankies Fro.... but thats another story. BEST CHARACTER IN A LEVEL This award goes to the level creator who is most capable of translating human emotion into the game. And the winner is.... xkappax for her wonderful GrantosUK character in 7 days. Fantastic, realistic, and charming representation of GrantosUK passed out on the bed. I don't think ANYONE could have done this better! (...except GrantosUK himself, who actually drew it....) BEST USE OF LAG TO INCREASE GAMEPLAY Yes, generally lag is a bad thing - however the ability to transcend this issue and actually make lag fun is a well-sought-after skill. And the nominees are.... ninjamicwz for False Idols 1 morgana25 for Chromastone chronicles 5. And the winner is.... This was hard, but I'm gonna have to go with morgana25. Lets face it, the brilliant use of light, fog, and gas all worked perfectly together to create one of the most stunning displays of slo-mo in LittleBigPlanet. I had not seen great work like this since "The Matrix" movies... great job, morgana! It was close - NinjaMicWZ' use of glass-filled hour glasses also created a stunning lag effect. | 2009-12-22 23:20:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |

I don't think ANYONE could have done this better! I'm afraid I can't accept this award. Grant made this character himself. lol. This is just like all the comments I get on Crystal Cave that say "The waterfalls were my favorite part" .... lol. (Curse you Vmethos for giving me that waterfall!!!!!) Can't I at least have "Best falling into unconsciousness from an exploding sun altar scene" or SOMETHING! | 2009-12-23 13:29:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |
lol @ lag award On the note of making me sick award... I actually forgot I even made Alien Escape til now, and you're probably the only person who gets down on it like I do. BUT I'm gonna also nominate CuzFeeshe and deboerdave... Ccubbage had to retool Starship Troopers because his horrifying enemies induced vomitous fear in too many people... personally, I just vomited back and enjoyed it. deboerdave got a comment way back when Jumper: Red Zone was still new, where a guy posted "Awesome... I came home drunk and spent an hour playing this, and now I'm gonna vomit" or something. He can probably find it and transcribe it better. | 2009-12-23 14:07:00 Author: Unknown User |

Especially if you look at the unpublished : published ratio! BETA LEVEL OF THE YEAR And the winner is.... The Three Flamingos by xkappax, catiers, morgana25, and cuzfeeshe Yes, 4 of the top talents in LittleBigPlanet came together to create one of the greatest technical achievements in LittleBigPlanet history. The artwork of xkappax, the technical brilliance of catiers, the lighting expertise of morgana25, and the ability of cuzfeeshe to stabalize flamingos.... all combined to create an experience NO ONE will ever forget. | 2009-12-24 18:22:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
Thank you Ccubbage. This means a lot to me! *sniff* I'd like the thank the Feeshcademy, NinjaMicWz for teaching me that a winch makes everything funnier, ... FullGorr for his inappropriate costumes, which really have nothing to do with this award, um... I want to thank Grab the Yellow things, for teaching me that, yes, a Giraffe is considered a "shape". Morgana for teaching me that you can't really ever have enough lights, and if you need to delete some of the level to add more lights, that's okay... I guess I should also thank Catiers. Without him, the flamingo wouldn't have the hexagon wheels it does today... Let's see... who else... um... Wait a minute! What do you mean "I'm done"! I haven't finished my speech yet. Also, I'd like to thank... WHAT ARE YOU DOING! WHY AM I BEING USHERED OFF THE STAGE! NOOOOOOOO! *xkappax has been removed from the awards ceremony* | 2009-12-26 16:01:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

rofl Matt! You guys do real work too. I just do it earlier Just saw that I got the laggy award! Horray! I'd like to thank all the spotlights and glass that work in harmony to drop your framerate as much as possible. They are the real heroes and deserve this Cuzzie more than I. I am but the instrument through which they work their innate magic! I'd like to nominate v0rtex for the level I'm most likely to replay over and over and over again for his Virtual Reality Survivial Challenge. Morgana for teaching me that you can't really ever have enough lights, and if you need to delete some of the level to add more lights, that's okay... LOL seeing her levels i'm sure she does delete parts just for more lights. although morgana is also very thermo efficient so she gets the award being very thermo efficient for the sole purpose of adding 200 LED's after the levl is done. | 2009-12-28 12:28:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |

Hello! Can I nominate myself for longest lbp series never to see the light of day? Oh well...and some pretty great awards in here! Hmmm.... we'll need to compare your series and Jegrevi's series for that one. However, if we were able to compare them, wouldn't that mean it DID see the light of day.... and therefore be disqualified? | 2009-12-30 23:59:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
Hmmm.... we'll need to compare your series and Jegrevi's series for that one. However, if we were able to compare them, wouldn't that mean it DID see the light of day.... and therefore be disqualified? Well, Jagrevi's series WILL see the light of day- it's merely a few months off, and all major work is done. His series however will never- I think he officially gave up, but yeah, Jagrevi's will come out, I'm pretty sure Theap's pretty much just gave up on his by now. ... Which reminds me. I nominated myself for Lunatic who started a 20 level long series despite having absolutely no qualifications at all. Literally, none, unless you count being crazy enough to start it a qualification. ... Do i win? | 2009-12-31 00:03:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
