Making Metals, Wood, Stone, Etc. Movable *THE SECOND WAY*
Archive: 7 posts
Here is another way to make non movable materials grabbable. 1: Find the Polystyrene in the Materials Section of your goodies bag, and make whatever shape you decide http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155526@N02/4200460289/ 2: Find the material you want it to be (ex. Gold, Stone, etc. For this example, I'm using gold hieroglyphs) http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155526@N02/4200460109/ 3: Make the non movable block of material really big, and take a picture of it, so you cannot see the sky http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155526@N02/4200460193/ 4: Paint it on your shape, and delete the big block http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155526@N02/4201213654/ 5: Voila! You have a movable material! http://www.flickr.com/photos/35155526@N02/4200460263/ | 2009-12-20 20:14:00 Author: psman012 ![]() Posts: 106 |
Cool, but it is not really (in your example) gold hieroglyphs moving, it's just Polystyrene with a picture. | 2009-12-21 04:29:00 Author: Botak_boy ![]() Posts: 56 |
I'm confused, what do you mean "moveable"? Do you mean that glitchy effect for when you merge two materials together? | 2009-12-21 05:13:00 Author: warlord_evil ![]() Posts: 4193 |
I'm confused, what do you mean "moveable"? Do you mean that glitchy effect for when you merge two materials together? I mean to make a material "grabbable" (which isn't a word). I didn't know how to put it, so I said movable. | 2009-12-21 19:41:00 Author: psman012 ![]() Posts: 106 |
Cool, but it is not really (in your example) gold hieroglyphs moving, it's just Polystyrene with a picture. Yeah, it doesn't have the same properties unfortunately. | 2009-12-21 19:42:00 Author: psman012 ![]() Posts: 106 |
I mean to make a material "grabbable" (which isn't a word). I didn't know how to put it, so I said movable. Grabbable isn't a word, grabable is though.: grabable (comparative more grabable, superlative most grabable) Able to be grabbed Desirable to grab. "My stress balls were looking particularly grabable during my oral exam." | 2009-12-21 21:05:00 Author: Dexist ![]() Posts: 570 |
