Is there a way to play Uncharted 2 without downloading the new update, 1.03? It keeps giving me an error when I try to download it. I tried to unplug the ethernet chord but it still makes me try to download the update. Is there anyway I can play the game without downloading the update?

Well, yes, in a way. You can keep playing the actual game itself, but you won't be able to play the online modes. When it asks you if you want to update, simply choose not to update, and you can continue playing the offline game. Or I could be wrong, and you might have to cancel the update while it's updating. I don't quite remember. D:

Yes, when it says something like "To sign in and play this game you must update it to the most recent version.", just press circle. It should close the notification and will start the game like usual, but you will have no access to online gameplay, and will be signed out of PlayStation Network until you A) Update -or- B) Quit the game

Do you have Media Servers enabled under Network Settings? That seems (or at least seemed, they might have fixed it by now) to interfere with updating games something fierce. Try disabling that if you're still having trouble.
