Favorite PS3 game (besides LBP!)

So, I thought it would be interesting to find out what people's favorite PS3 game is (besides the obvious!), as it is interesting to find out what other things people like.

My personal favorite is one I don't think I have actually discussed on this board before, Uncharted. It's not the best in terms of gameplay, as it does start to get a bit repetitive, but the graphics and environment are gorgeous, and the storyline really drew me in.

Other near-mentions of mine are Folklore (for the same reasons actually) and Resistance.		2008-09-26 16:09:00

Well, my (rather pitiful) library consists of Burnout Paradise, CoD4, and Battlefield: Bad Company (and a whole SMATTERING of demos, but those don't count). But really, I like them all enough that deciding between them is difficult at best. They all have their different strengths. Although if I really had to, Burnout Paradise would very likely take the upper hand, since I've spent hundreds of hours on it, and probably due to the fact that there's always new stuff coming out, I always seem to keep coming back to it. Between CoD4 and BC, I currently have to say BC, just because it's so incredibly addicting in the multiplayer department, and the addicting nature of CoD4 has somewhat worn off on me. Although a special shout-out towards CoD4, which was the final motivation to go out and spend the money to get my PS3.2008-09-27 01:18:00

Definitely MGS4. What an amazing game! I love how dynamic the game is, so if you like action or stealth games then you're likely to fall in love with at least one of the acts.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is really addicting for me.

Soul Calibur IV is fun too.

If I'm feeling like it, then Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

CoD4 is still 50 I think.. Battlefield 2 is going to be lowered this week and I think CoD4 would be too. 'Great Hits' section.

It's a toss-up for me really between MGS4 and Oblivion. I've without a doubt spent more time playing Oblivion, about 210 hours altogether. I'm bored of it now though and will probably never go back to it... well, never say never, but with Fallout 3 around the corner it looks unlikely... a pity because I never finished the main quest and never started Shivering Isles.

I've finished MGS4 5 times so far and have about 20 hours done online. At first I thought I would unlock all the emblems but there's just too much repetition for me to do so. It's the best online game I've ever played, though in fairness it's the first online game I've ever spent a decent amount of time playing. I'm not sick of it but know I would be if I'd spent 200+ hours at it.

I love both games, they are both in my top 5 games of all time. But I can't really decide which I prefer. So I'll just give them both the award of 1st place on PS3 .		2008-09-28 19:26:00

I would have to say MGS4 released too definitely, everything is great slowly getting through the game without being detected/killing anyone but finding it awesomely hard. Also agree with last post mirrors edge seems like a very very nice but unique game!2008-09-29 11:32:00

hmmmm i havent played gta4 yet... but from the games i played... i think warhawk has the funnest and most long lasting gameplay for me atleast...

Uncharted was my favorite. High Stakes on the Vegas Strip is my second favorite. As I get older, I get tired of shooters and am leaning more towards puzzle/strategy/card games. LBP is considered a puzzle game isn't it?2008-10-07 22:21:00

At the moment my favourite game on ps3 is Unreal Tournament 3! (if you want to ad mee, wich actually is in my signature already, to play so unreal, you cannnn!) On pc it's got to be ut2004.... yep. And I think Resistance 2 will be my favourite once it's released (besides LBP afcourse).2008-10-08 17:33:00
