If you watch the old Gamestop LBP trailer below, you might notice something a bit peculiar around 0:43... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tgjs9q0__X0 That looks like an underwater level to me! You can see the checkpoint off to the right with a jetpack right underneath it. Maybe this was one of the levels with the beach theme that probably got thrown away due to it being one of their most uninteresting environments. Did these levels possibly help inspire them during the development of the PotC level pack?

The only thing I see that looks anything like water is a bit where they are on jetpacks dodging sack-eating plants. Those "plants" look more like clams with bubbles inside of them. There's a treasure chest at the bottom. There's a big blue wavy piece of material in the background. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be water.

It's more like :43, and it does look like fake water, but not real 'new' water.

And the characters don't have a jetpack there. They sort of move like they were swimming too. Must definetely be the world that didn't make it in the final product. Remember that they wanted water/liquids before, they weren't sure if they could make it though. It was clearly in the plans if you followed Media Molecule since the start. This level is probably of that "never made it" world and there was probably some sort of version of water in there. .

Hum...for me, it's just sackboys flying with jet-packs... I don't see anything like water (fake or true)... maybe it's just the scenery that's supposed to represent underwater, but it's made with regular materials I think (a wavy blue shape made with cardboard for example)
