Your journey through this world will not be one of leisure. You will face many obstacles, as the machines work against you to keep you from accomplishing your goal.

Woo hoo finally done! I've been working on this level for a month now, and I am really pleased with the final result. I hope that you all enjoy playing it.

I've outdone myself once again. This is the best of my levels to date, and I really want to make it stand out amongst other levels. So please, don't hesitate to give feedback. I'm aiming for the best possible quality!

I will be doing as many F4F's as wanted on this one, so please give me as much constructive criticizm as you can!

Keep in mind though that the level's thermo is exploding So don't just tell me what to add, tell me what to remove! If there's anything you dislike about this level, chances are there are others who feel the same way. So i will do my best to fix any areas you dont enjoy.

Have fun!

I'll play later, it looks visually amazing, I have to figure out how you get the silhouette effect. I'll edit this post after I play it.

EDIT: Played it, WOW it's great. The visual style is awesome and consistent throughout the level, it really does seem like an evil robot factory in the sky.

It was incredibly easy, that's not exactly a bad thing, I just like a challenge. Don't worry too much though, most people quit and tag a level rubbish as soon as they encounter difficulty so this is just me.

The thing I like most about this level and that really gives it character is that nothing seems to be there just for o fill space, everything fits into the word and even all the challenges are a side effect of what's really going on, not a random platform in the air. My personal favorite section is the whole climb up wards after the conveyor belt, the whole section just seemed so real and the hazards were all part of the environment.

Criticisms? Apart from the low difficulty, not a whole lot, I would say a little more direction in places maybe, at the machine on the conveyor belt, it took me a little while to realize you could simply run right, the camera angle made me think it was a challenge and nothing indicated anything off to the right. At least I didn't notice anything. Also at the moving platforms holding the robots, it wasn't immediately apparent there was a switch, this isn't too big of a deal it only took me one death to realize.

Overall a very solid and thought out level, shame it doesn't have more plays and hearts.

5:star: and heart.

Thanks of feedback on my thread. I try improve those things you mentioned. Without your feedback I haven't probably noticed this gem witch is full of high quality visuals and game play.
Best parts in this level are those with background and those assembly line parts. First obstacle is bit annoying and you could trow it away and make something in place.

+ great atmosphere
+ detailed background
+ use of materials
+ good puzzles
+ cool boss fights
- first section killed me 9 times.
- some checkpoints requires jumping
- possibility for infinite points

Nice level you got here. I liked the visuals and the use of the silhouette with the 3D glitch. I feel like I played something similar to this, not a level though, a game or something...Anyways, just wanted to let you know that right before the scoreboard on the lift there are 2 mag keys and 2 mag switches visible and you can shoot that last thing even when it closes it's mouth. 4 stars!2009-12-17 17:35:00

Pretty cool level. Very nice and unique visuals. I don't remember any other silhouette level in an industrial setting. The two enemies endlessly respawning in the fourth picture makes high scores useless. Was this your intention? The part I liked least was were I had to electrify the four things. It was too obvious and simple and I never enjoy puzzles like that. Maybe a little maze with one target would have been better. The assembly line in the last picture is a great effect and my favorite part of the level.2009-12-18 00:52:00

I managed to break this one last night - the puzzle with the relighting the engines bit. I broke the lighter part. It was a level breaker.2009-12-18 01:19:00

Thanks for all the feedback guys, its very helpful so keep it coming

I changed a couple of minor things, like camera angles and switch visibility to that the level flows better. I think i might replace the part you're talking about kipmonlin and morgana, it was tedious when i was play testing the level and it seems that its able to break as well, although I haven't had that happen to me yet.

Alot of people are talking about the infinite point possibility, but i dont think thats something im going to change. when making this level i didnt pay any attention to the score bubbles as i thought they would detract from the visual design as well as they werent really my focus. This level wasnt meant to be competitive, and taking away the spawning enemies would remove what I think is a cool obstacle. Ill keep the possibility of infinite points in mind for future levels though and do my best to avoid situations like that.

Thanks again, keep the feedback coming!

Pros- I finally played through it, tagged and hearted. Personally, I thought it was fantastic!!! The puzzles were clever, challenging but not frustrating, the visuals were stunning, the lack of score bubbles actually helped bring the focus on the gameplay element of the level which is more important and I loved the boss encounters, again, smart and challenging.

Cons- Ummmmm...

I must say this level was truly amazingly. The visuals alone were atmospheric and beautiful. There are several unique gameplay elements, and the boss was funtastic. There are no problems I can think of. Great job. 5 stars + a heart.

F4F my level A Land Of Apparent Virtue if you don't mind.

Looks great. I saw it on youtube just a few moments ago, and I'm gonna play this when I get on LBP next. That is if I can convince myself to stop playing Call of Duty
Just kidding, I'll get on there soon.
