Need someone with a HD capture card to help me! (Not a video!)

I'm making an application in Adobe Flash that allows you to try on all the different costumes LBP has to offer, but I need some reference images. I plan on drawing all the costumes myself in Flash, but some HD (< that's important, so I can get the details) pictures of each item on it's own would be very handy. It's going to be a big job to make the Flash itself, because there must be literally thousands of separate combinations, but if anyone is willing to lend an hour or so just to help by taking pictures, it would really make sure it gets made, and made well! Here's what I need: 1 picture of each skin. 1 picture of each piece of clothing (hats, eyes, tops, shoes... everything!). As many pictures of DLC items as possible (not 100% required, but I think it would be cool to include all/most of the DLC, too). All on a blank background (I'm thinking... blank level, blue background, stood high in the air on invisible dark matter, so there's nothing in the background, not even the floor!) If anyone wants to help, all you need is: a HD capture card & all the costumes (DLC would be good, but isn't necessary!). If anybody is interested in helping then just say so. As Doopz479 cleverly suggested, it's fine the work gets spread around a bit. For example, if you want to just do pictures of the shoes, feel free to. I'd like this to be a group effort anyway, so contribute whatever you can; big or small. Anyone that contributes will get a "Thanks" (rep) from me and their name included in the final version of the project stating what they gave. Thanks... now does anyone want to help? PS - any questions, just ask. | 2009-12-14 20:34:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |
I am waiting for a laptop of mine to arrive, if I am not wrong it has a hdmi to it... Don?t know if it can really simulate a video capture card, to the point of showing ps3 images on the laptop screen, but it is worth a try. I can?t promise anything though (Just saying this to avoid possible disappointments!), but if I get my laptop I might try experimenting with this to see if I can help you ! | 2009-12-15 13:29:00 Author: AlvaroShiokawa Posts: 126 |

personally sorry i can't help you i don't have a capture card. but instead of having one person doing this assign a few people diffrent items meaning everyone does less and it gets done quicker Just a suggestion that i bet you're gonna say that you were already thinking that... | 2009-12-15 20:57:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |

this will be a cool project, but good luck keeping it updated with new dlc! Yup, it's going to be a challenge, but I'm building the project in such a way that it will hopefully be easy to update. I really need some help though. Someone must be able to help me | 2009-12-17 23:28:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |
Sorry, that is such a large amount of time, but I might possibly be able to do some. Don't rely on me though... | 2009-12-18 00:16:00 Author: moleynator Posts: 2914 |
