For the first time ever, G-Corp is proud to present its finest product in Community Interaction technology, the ReviewBot! http://i46.tinypic.com/eb3l1f.png And for its maiden voyage, our dear mechanical friend has been to visit a wonderful level seated within the Cool Pages, Sackboy Visits: Ancient Times by xXGrEEn0Xx. We weren't expecting much, considering the quality of most Cool Pages levels, but even we were amazed at the visuals and the atmosphere of the level. Everything just seemed in place, and there wasn't an area that seemed barren; each centimeter of the whole level was wonderfully taken care of. The level simply reeked "Ancient", right down to the rocky architecture and the subtle winches. Which reminds us, you people don't have to hide every single winch, piston and rod to make a level look good. Sometimes that little peek gives it that all-important feel to what the level is. The fogginess also adds to the effect, and the music compliments the level like cheese on toast. http://i46.tinypic.com/16gz9tx.jpg The gameplay's just as nice, too. It's quite easy, yet there are some very well-hidden traps, most wouldn't be out of place in Tomb Raider or God of War. And the pace is nice and moderate as well; not too fast for the beginners, yet not too slow for those looking for a challenge. Though that said, some will take you by surprise and others just... crush you like the puny, clothy Sack you are. However, one problem is that it's rather short, and it lacks that ending it deserves. We were quite disappointed once ReviewBot reached the end, mostly because we weren't expecting an end all of a sudden. Maybe that's the charm of it; you don't want the adventure to end. http://i48.tinypic.com/281h1ch.jpg Despite the abruptness, it's one of those levels you never forget. The simple look of the level, the traps, the atmosphere, we even looked forward to ReviewBot being destroyed; it's always in a wonderfully articulate way. If you looked forward to dying in a level just to see how you die, that shows how amazing it really is. http://i47.tinypic.com/24y6yjp.jpg Our summary; This is a level you'd play just for some eye candy, and a bit of a thrill. It's not hard enough to leave you crawling for the scoreboard, howver it does provide a good 10 minutes of adventure. :star::star::star::star::star: Post here if you want our analysis on your level, and we'll send out a ReviewBot to have a gander.
