Err to watch ITV u need a TV that you need a TV license for. Yes and that TV licence is used to fund the BBC, ITV is a commecrcial network and boycotting the licence fee because of their programming will not make a difference.

I don't boycott the license fee. I just don't have a license because there is so little on telly worth watching (across all the channels) that I can't watch on iplayer or 4OD etc, which you are still allowed to watch after the broadcast due to the draconian nature of the TV licensing laws. It's not a protest, I just don't see the point. If I get a TV license I'd just get a digital package too, then I still would barely watch it, so I don't bother! Yeah, reality TV sucks.
