Sackies 3 - Ever Watching Eye!

Sackies 3 is up, guys. Congrats to StevenI. Like we didn't know he was gonna win this! I've never seen someone more dedicated to informing everyone of everything ever. ^_^

Edit: For those of you that don't know, StevenI is SO helpful to the community over at littlebigworkshop.com, that his crown was the first community appointed crown. They made a thread and everyone flooded it with "CROWN STEVENI!!!" 		2009-12-13 13:15:00

I'm thinking maybe this is a public announcement of his crowning, because back when he did get his crown, it just sorta happened. Maybe they won't give him another one? Maybe this is just so he gets some sort of public recognition? Not sure.

I dunno. He's always been helpful and nice to me. He was one of the only people on workshop who replied to my thread about the kitsune animation. ^_^

Does anyone else find it ironic that StevenI didn't post this thread? Not much of an everwatching eye, now, is he? Didn't even see his own award ceremony first! (j/k Steven )

I have to be honest and say that this is the first time I ever heard of StevenI, I never visit the workshop except once or twice during the beta.

Actually I was out to dinner and have just got in.
As much as I try to keep on top of things, a guy's got to eat.

Besides somehow I don't think it would have been right for me to highlight my own award, so I was going to leave it for someone else to do anyway.

I don't think it's really pointless to add an award like this. It's something that is well worth recognising in a set of awards for the community.

These sackies are about far more than the crowns IMO, it's about MM looking into the community and recognising (in a more official way), great things that have been done.		2009-12-13 18:21:00

It may seem that way just looking at it, but say you have ten judges that all nominate the same person, then of course you are looking at only one nomination as not one of them said anyone else.

Perhaps.
However the next valid arguement would be that the Prize Crown is being given out to too many people and by only nominating one person who also happens to already have one, they've worked well to restrict the amount of Prize Crowns being given out.		2009-12-13 19:54:00

I think you'll encounter a bit of uneasiness here because, well, you're active on LittleBigWorkshop and not so much on LBPCentral, and lots of our members don't visit LittleBigWorkshop and don't know who you are. I'm there quite a bit, though, and you are completely deserving. You really do keep up with the news better than anyone else and you even take the time to post that new content for the rest of the people at LittleBigWorkshop to see and comment on. Although to be honest, I didn't feel that much hostility from anyone here.
Even I was surprised to see that I was the only nominee for the award, as there's certainly other players who are deserving of recognition for similar contributions.

However as I said though, on the bright side at least there's no complaints that Prize Crowns were being handed out too easily for this particular category.

Still I'm looking forward to the rest of the nominee and winner announcements though, plenty of LittleBigPlanet community members that are deserving of recognition in their respective fields.

Well now that was uncalled for...

Say what you will about the LittleBigWorkshop but I like it and it works well for me.

Besides there's nothing stopping other LittleBigPlanet community members from posting on there, whenever they feel like it.


Sorry for the delayed reply.
Would you believe that in the same week that I'm awarded the Ever Seeing Eye award, that the graphics card on my computer blows, effectively cutting me off from the internet via my PC.

I can borrow the occassional laptop but it's just not the same as having my own lovely computer, with all those helpful LittleBigPlanet links stored on it.

Oh well...
Hopefully my replacement graphics card will arrive soon, unfortunately being a bit delayed due to the Christmas period though.

Good thing that LittleBigPlanet isn't a PC game though.
Otherwise with a certain DLC release coming out on Tuesday, I would be mighty upset if I was unable to even play LittleBigPlanet at the moment.		2009-12-18 06:28:00
