I was trying to get the Quickfire trophy from thr MGS pack, but I can't figure out how it's humanly possible to shoot all those paintballs in under 5 seconds. Help?

I found Nuclearfish's paint counter to be a very good way of doing this, search Nuclearfish. It doesn't help you per say, but it gives you a good idea how fast you ARE going, and it works perfectly there. Also, I personally mashed two of my fingers together and rubber it over R1. warning, though: my thumb still hasn't grown part of the skin that wore off. you may wanna use your pointer and middle fingers, though mashing a button this way works better with the face buttons rather then a trigger button. Anyway, play Nuclearfish's level, that'll tell you pretty much what your current score is, and will give you an idea what you're doing. Also, stand as close to the wall as possible without being too clsoe to fire your paintinator.

Hi I found Nuclearfish's level really helpful too. As far as technique is concerned, what worked for me was holding the controller upright on a hard surface like a table top so that the R1 button was facing up to the ceiling. I then clenched my fingers together and bounced them on the R1 button as though my hand was in spasm. Sort of hard to explain but it did work, lol! Good luck!

Hmm I just tried this one and got it on the third attempt. My tactic was: hold the controller in your left hand and support it against your leg so it won't move, then just kinda vibrate your finger against R1 really fast I tihnk shropshirelass was doing what I did - just clench all the muscles in your arm until your hand vibrates. Maybe just stay off booze long enough that you get the shakes - that might work :hero:

For months I tried to obtain the trophy, I heard people say to slam the R1 button to a surface so I tried that and nothing, I heard people say to use your chin so I tried that and again, nothing. It wasn't until the Summer when when of my friends told me to use two fingers, so we went into a level and I decided to use both my index and middle finger, and to my surprise it worked! I found it quite easy.

I held the controller in my right hand and tensed up my left arm so it did the same thing as rtm and shroshirelass said. This is also useful for 'speedy rexecutioner' btw, and any other enemies with paint switches like that.

after a steaming hot coffee, I used the middle finger on my left hand (wooo lefties!!) and just went nutts on that R1 button. Imagine that R1 button has ran off with your girlfriend but your triceps are too frail to actually hit him so you must use your fingers to incessantly poke him into submission.

I also got this almost right away The whole clench up and spasm thing might work, but I think I did the whole alternate with 2 fingers thing. Hold the controller firm on your leg with one hand and then alternate with the index and middle fingers... try it slowly at first to build up a good rhythm between them and gradually build it up, try not to tense up if you're doing the 2 finger approach. If you're gonna do the tense up and vibrate approach just try not to hurt yourself. I think the 2 finger way gives you a little more control and won't hurt you.

I think you were supposed to go to Create Mode get a Paintinator Gun, pause, and fire them lot. I think that's how I got mine. Just a theory.

Obviusly some of us just aren't good at pressing buttons quickly. Took me a couple of weeks to get mine. And I was so bad at it that I had to make a level to help me with it.

try using both you pointer and middle finger and let go fast off the r1 button when you do it

I just COULDN'T do it, even with Nuclearfish's thing (that's very clever by the way). Eventually I got it when I was playing online and it was really laggy. Someone put a paintinator on the scoreboard. We fired randomly, and I just got it. I dought (<probably spelled wrong ) I actually fired 50 in 5 secs, it's probably just LBP being broken.

I'm gonna try the two fingers and the vibrate thing today. I never tried getting the quickfire artiste thing before cuz I am really lazy lol. *Goes into a spasm vibrating*
