Vibration zone

Archive: 9 posts

would anybody else have any use for controlling the vibration of six axis controller.

vibration switch or sensor

my idea is that you put a sensor or switch or combination of the 2, set the area/zone/proximity and then the strength of the vibration. it could be on/off or speed (the closer you are the stronger it gets)

the uses for this would be limited by a creators imagination only.

I remember that Geosautus, in a interview with Mm, wanted something like this so he could make the controller vibrate in a heartbeat pattern for a horror level.2009-12-12 16:29:00

I was about to ask why, I thought it was because of weird application.

If they implemented that it would be a horrible idea, I'm not even going to bother giving a subtle hint about the lawsuits it would cause.2009-12-12 20:38:00

You can do that...
You know when you approach a hazard, the controller vibrates. Just make a hidden hazard in the area you want the controller to go off.
