I'm pretty sure someone has came up with this at some point or another, but it's new to me =P. But anyways, while messing around with a jetpack I thought of this idea. Since we don't have a tether-less jetpack for the PSP or the Paintonator, why not use the jetpack as a weapon? I was thinking of making an area in a future level of mine where you have to fly with the jetpack while the jetpack tool hangs from you by the tether. You can then swing it around like a mace as you're flying. A very basic use of this is placing a magnetic key on it and a switch on a flying enemy with dissolve material, and then just pound the thing with your jetpack. Could do some interesting stuff with it, me thinks. Good idea? Bad idea? Or an idea that has already been thought of long ago and I'm far too late? =P

hehe, thats one of my things on my upcoming PSP level. The level is a set of minigames built around things that can only be done on the PSP version, swinging in circles with jetpack builds up way too much momentum on the PS3 version (I've tested this way back cause i noticed it when making the physics of my golf level when they held the contest in March) Well it not going to be used as a weapon but i'll leave it at that. It'll be a surprise

I like this idea. I am starting to think of new ways to use a tethered jetpack... Oh!! You could also make the jetpacks dangerous to sackboy by making the tether really short and attatching it to a fast piston that would drag sackboy up into some gas.

That's actually a genius idea, you should really put some thought into developing a good way to use this in a level.

If you wanted a puzzle element, you could also attach something to the end of the tether and drag it around. (Crates, boxes, etc.) I like the gas idea.

i may just use this in a later level of mine...oh and btw...I FINISHED MY FIRST LBP PSP LEVEL!!!...its not to complicated,but i did add a good amount of detail...and it only filled half the thermo...weird.
