The Curse of Chu-TaoGreemaa
http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr301/Greemaa/Unafoto-3.jpg?t=1260431898"At the top of the mountain there are a palace that few dare mention. Chu-tao lives there, the evil emperor who reigns over men. Sack Lee, the legendary hero who defeated the Four Masters, goes to the summit to end his tyrannical rule."

-An adventure full of danger. Run, jump and avoid the traps!

-Graphically the level is very cool and the atmosphere will trap you from the start.

-I'm particularly proud of the design of some objects (the hangers, for example). All these objects can be obtained by exploring the stage.

-I forgot ... At the end awaits an enemy tough.

Go ahead, brave!

This looks great - I'll give it a go and leave some feedback a bit later

EDIT: Okay, played it now. This looked good and and played good, too! Loved the swinging lanterns and the oriental theme. Some challenging platforming and clever tricks. Very enjoyable. The corridor with the quick rotating spikes was tricky!

The boss looked great, and was tough to beat!

Some original touches, some great visuals and very generous to give away all those prizes, too.

Well done - I hope this level gets more plays. It deserves it.

Just finished playing this one and it's cool. I like your lantern design and they can be really challenging (especially in the fire area) The sets you made are very nice and I like the camera angles you choose, very dramatic.

There were a few places that I wanted to point out to you that I think you could modify a little bit and it would make it look more polished.

In the intro you emit two spotlights that appear to have big chunks of some material on them. They just look a little rough compared to some of the more subtle stuff you've got going on.

If you could make it a little more obvious to grab the dragons jaw in front of the building that would help I think. Took me three times of running around to figure it out. Although I may just have been having an off moring.

Overall I really liked this level - it's challenging and looks nice. I gave it 5 stars. Thanks for sharing it!

Gameplay: First off I really want to say I loved the swinging lanterns. They offer a refreshing alternative to the tradition hanging sponge blob. They were challenging, but that pushes players to be patient for that perfect jump. I liked the circular puzzle, but it was far to easy in my opinion. All you have to do is grab to biggest circle and pull it down a little and you've figured the whole thing out. I didn't even know what I was supposed to do and got it by fluke. One flaw I noticed was with the spike floors. I don't know if you did it on purpose, but it's really easy to just fall through the floor. If you do, you have to pop your Sackboy, and I hate popping my Sackboy! Also, I found that I could run over the platforms and even if the spikes flipped while I was at a certain point I would survive. After the next lantern swing, I found another flaw. The wobbly platforms moved together and got stuck so that the jump was too high for me to get onto the next one! I had to restart the whole level again. I enjoyed the boss model, but the boss encounter was pretty easy itself.

Prizes and Secrets: I loved the popping lanterns as prize bubble containers, but I noticed they're kind of buggy. Each time I grabbed one, one or two bubbles would either roll off an edge or get stuck on top of the lantern. You were very generous with your items, and I really liked the polystyrene lanterns. I'll probably include one somewhere in one of my levels.

Visuals: The level itself is very beautiful. I loved the image of the title when it dropped. The color correction you used fits the theme of the level well, and sets the mood perfectly. I enjoyed sitting back on a few of the panoramas and just looking at the art. Morgana is right - the spotlights could be tweaked so that we can't see the little pieces of anti-matter. Another minor tweak would be to adjust the camera angles slightly when you drop onto the platform that rolls to the right. It would be nice not to be able to see the rolling mechanisms underneath.

I liked the level. What made it a great level for me were the visuals. They were very well executed.

If you get a chance, take a look at my levels. Tell me what you think!

Great review! Thanks for playing my level and discuss it. I have to check some things: the puzzle of concentric circles and the bug of spiked platforms (surprise! ). I'll play your levels, but do not expect a comment so long because the English lenguage is not my thing.

Edit: All failures have been resolved. The level is perfect now (). Thank you all for your suggestions.
