A Christmas of Rage.
Archive: 30 posts
Semi mis-leading title FTW. So, as all our UK guys and gals will know, every year the x-factor winner releases a single, and every year it is the Christmas number 1. SO. This year, it WILL be different. Started by a facebook group, now with 450,000 members, encouraged by Sonisphere, promoted by Ultimate-Guitar.com and with growing support, here is the plan. From the 13th December to the 20th of December, everyone in the UK has to buy 'Killing in the Name of' by RATM (Rage Against the Machine, noob ) and get it too number 1! I know you all want to **** Mr Cowell off, so what are you waiting for? | 2009-12-09 23:56:00 Author: Unknown User |
What is X-factor? EDIT: Nevermind, I just found out it's a British singing competition. | 2009-12-10 00:12:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
It can be the tweenies for all I care. What difference does it make to anyone? It certainly won't make a difference to Simon Cowell, he's still going to be a successful, smug millionaire at the top of his game and he'll still smile his blazing white smile at you Whatever happened to people campaigning for things that matter? | 2009-12-10 00:18:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
I could do that or I could just keep my money and not give a **** about the whole thing. | 2009-12-10 00:28:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

The thing about Simon Cowell is that he's the only one on American Idol, or any of these shows for that matter, actually looking for the best. Everyone else is being too nice. He's looking for the best singer. Unfortunately, the audience participation is what keeps it from reaching its full potential. | 2009-12-10 00:50:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |

You seriously think there is anyone on the internet who hasn't seen the facebook group for this? | 2009-12-10 18:49:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
@ ARD: I sincerely tried not to be aware of it. Does that count? the facebook group is at 550,000 members Alrighty people. XP is now up for grabs. Place your bets: There are half a million people in the facebook group. So, knowing how much conviction the average facebook bandwagon hopper has , how many copies do you think the single will actually sell in XMAS week, in the UK. The person who gets closest will win 300xp!!! In the event that I can't actually determine the correct answer, I'll just spread the XP out amongst the entrants and everyone wins. | 2009-12-10 19:15:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

You seriously think there is anyone on the internet who hasn't seen the facebook group for this? Did i ever say i didn't think that? But oh wait, you've been proven wrong by the 2 posts above And anyways, has it been posted on here before? No? No problem then is there. No one thinks it will get to the top, if you thought i was being serious about it you need to LRN 2 SARCASM. I'm going to buy it, but i'm under no illusion that it will be the ****** x factor single. | 2009-12-11 16:57:00 Author: Unknown User |
