The Lost

The Lostangiefaramarzi
In a lost matrix isolated from the greater space of the universe. An unexpected happening has many effects in the southern continants. Rising tempertures have given birth to a massive swampland rich with root and leaf, and the diverse inhabitants that hide beneath the shadows of a forest.-something unheard of in these areas. But most notably uncovered an ancient presence from the great colossal glaciers. A presence of power unwelcomed to the southern villages, that will impact everyone everywhere buts only a small chapter of a never-ending story in the land of the Lost.
-My first real published level by the way.
Also key things i kinda want to know/though il return feedback regardless of what you put.:
-The order of the keys from least to greatest difficulty.
-Definatly any bugs/glitches.
-How hard or easy the Shadow praunyo was.
-If you happen to see an Olm. (You shoud know what it is if you saw it.)
-The length of the entire level.(too short/long)
-And If you happen to find anything, well..hidden. I wont give any hints, but there are things in this level not everyone will discover.
-Complete honesty in your ratings/stars you give the level.
-Thanks!! tell me the level you wish me to give feedback for, and il give it! L

Played this one last night and really loved it. It's gorgeous. Couple of things I'd suggesty tweaking just a bit - maybe say there's x number of keys to find to get past the tree - cuts down on frustration when looking around for them. Make it a little easier to figure out where you have to stand in the pond. Middle is a little ambiguous given it's layout. There's a few places where the layer shifting is pretty intense. (tree roots, where the fire is in the city - maybe adjust a few shapes to make these less of a problem) There's a jump after the "open the eye" area where you have a timed door - it's very hard to see where to stand or jump there.

Other than that it's a 5 star hearted level hands down. Very nice work - just needs a little fine tuning.

Thanks so much is there a level you wanted me to play and give feedback for?

and i did update it, and tried to take most of the issues you mentioned, as well as other stuff. Actully i think i might have tooken a little away from the level, but im not sure. When you have the time maybe you could replay it :O?

Oh and one more small question.. did the Mama Bird have feathers when you played? Ive been repeatdly republishing/updating the level. mostly due to its 3 star rating :/.

Firstly, I loved the artistry in this level - very nice work with that.

The only reason I can imagine that your level has 3 stars is that I think a lot of people start the level and don't know where to jump to from the bird's nest... It took me a few jumps to see that there was a landing on the right.

Morgana is right about the keys - it would be nice to know how many there are. The little cavern underwater may be a little too well hidden, and the log entrance to go back isn't really clearly marked.

I took the lower route instead of going up. The part with the city on fire is fairly hard to get through. It seemed a little blurry and the camera angles confused me. Also there were a ton of sound effects going on that I didn't understand, and I thought they were trying to hint to something, so I stayed there for a bit trying to find out what they were for.

After I painted down that Red Shadow Praun, however, the little fairy elevator broke and bugged out, and I couldn't go any further. I'm going to give it another couple of plays and finish it completely.

If you want to throw me some feedback in return, check out my two levels.

They're called "Ch. 1 - Leaving Home Behind." and "Ch. 2 - Jadestone Forest."

I'm really new to this community, and these are my first two levels. I definitely need the feedback.

Five Stars and a Heart for your level, thanks for making it.

Ah thanks? but dont give it five stars if you dont think its 5 star quality. Also there is one camera angle which i think confused you. It was added rcently but i will remove it. Also if the elevater bugs out!! blowup!!! you will go up to your destination! thanks again!!!
Im playing your levels currently.

F4F returned..........

Great looking nest- that dino looks good too. Nice use of timers on his scream and movement.

er...where do I go, the way forward isnt clear - I just jumped out and landed on gas :-z

Nice looking scenery with trees and greenery - and even a moving firefly - how did you do that?

Ok 20 minutes later and I have to give up I'm afraid. I really like the idea of a key hunt in an area you've already been through, and after much jumping, falling, dying in cracks, I found 3 keys but I'm stumped on the 4th. I got one high in the trees, one underwater, and one by a plasma creature. I found 2 pixies nests but the one up the tree broke because the pulley got stuck up the top so I couldnt go up there again.

Visually the level was amazing. Your use of decoration and thin/thick laters was incredible. Unfortunately this also led to lots of random jumping and falling when you cant see exactly where you're standing.
The other problem was with checkpoints. I'd activate a checkpoint at the bottom, climb on the grass (several times), scramble up the log, get past the waterfall and bounce on the blue shell, go underwater or get stuck in a crack, die, and respawn at the bottom. You need to put checkpoints at both exits of the log I think.

I like the idea, and I like puzzles, but this one had me beat. Put me out my misery - where was the other key?

The other key was at the top of the tree, in one of the pixie nests-the one you said had broken. Thanks for playing though and returning feedback. Hope you have the patience to play it again sometime.

If you do, you can collect the keys as you go along-meaning you could have all the keys before the meet the tree gaurdian.

Also im not sure how many people know this but.. If you cant really see yourself(like in a log) You can press te L1 button to find out exactly where you are !
