I've begun the transition back to consoles after quite a few bad tastes they have left in my mouth.. I shelled out tons on my gamecube, games, accessories and I loved it, before that was my Dreamcast which was, I feel, was the last TRUE console.. (Now consoles are tricked up/down computers) and was my most favorite of all... I've tried to cope without them but I've definitely felt the urge. Now I've decided to go with the PS3 since most good Xbox titles you can also get for the PC.. I have a PSP3k and due to some of the most recent events I've been doubting Sony can dedicate the customer service to sway me away from a 360/Wii.. Is ANY Console worth their current price tag? Are any of the Companies worth my time until major changes are made? this is a big purchase as this would cost me 2 entire paychecks (If I didn't have bills) So what does our community at large suggest?

PS3, and the gamecube. SEREOUSLLY, the gamecube. The PS3 is almost good enough to just get LBP, but if you want to get more, its still fine. And the game cube is actually pretty good, no matter how old.

i would recomend a ds...don't do the dsi though,it has a lot of computer functions too...but that didn't stop me... wait?do you mean CONSOLE consoles? than i would say wii,it can't play video so its more like a true console,plus you get to play all your GC games!

Actually, only go for a WII if there is local multiplay involved. Otherwise it is a waste. /opinion

I have to admit, the 360 is not as bad as everyone says, but is definitely second choice to the PlayStation. It is the most powerful and versatile, and, it has LittleBigPlanet As well as Infamous, MGS4, God of War, and some other things.
