Sackboy's head hangs down the whole time

Archive: 10 posts

yeah,I can't even move my head up and down, only left and right (somehow his head is pushed down) and I can only get his head back up by pressing L3 (body movement) or by going into "close up" when changing costumes.

is it because of a faulty dualshock or something within LBP? I haven't had any other games with this problem... (sixaxis problem)

It sounds similar to problems I have sometimes. Mine are related to changing the way I sit, which results in me holding the controller at a different angle. I think at some point, the angle of that moment is stored as the default, flat angle.

You could try putting down the controller while LBP is starting.

I get this problem a lot. Especially when I'm trying to record!

It usually fixes when I come off and go back on the game though.

I have had some luck by rotating the controller around both X and Y axes to regain the center.2009-12-08 17:48:00

I'm not certain, but he appears to "re-center" depending on the way you are holding the controller when you boot up the game (system?). If I start playing with the controller straight up and down, but then start to play, he will hang his head the whole time. I really can't confirm that, though.2009-12-08 18:06:00

Yeah-- you tend to think of your sack as being filled to the gadding-brim with vigor...

It is no fun seeing your sack afflicted with sagging-stroke-sack or s.s.s for short. However my PS3 is on 24/7 usually paused in create mode when I am not tending the addiction and s.s.s still happens to me. I have to turn-off and restart.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say.

Wow, that's a lot of electricity, that really will not do in this day and age. Maybe you should switch to PSP, at least you can suspend that.

He's obviously sad. You should play with him more

...Pfffhahahahah. In all seriousness, my Sackgirl's been giving me the cold shoulder by always having her head turned to the left. Fixes the problem when I turn my controller off for a few seconds then turn it back on. Just gotta be sure I'm not trying to ace a level when I do that.

I tried everything suggested to no avail
I'm gonna try it with another controller, see if the problem is with the sixaxis sensor in my controller.

edit: my old sixaxis controller works flawless...

Nah, the Psp goes against everything I believe in! I'm serious about this. Gravel is 100% committed to whatever it is he is doing!!!

I play games as a hobby at either friends or my own home. Giant screen in 5.1. I've worked hard to acquire that status. If I'm out... I am in the moment actively engaged... Psp is a waste of time and just a further proof that the world is becoming smaller by the second and more insular at the same time... doesn't seem possible.

Oh and my footfalls are lightly tred--don't you worry.

...and I think it either rights itself or restart.
