inspired by squirlin and then cog i want to create my own LBP comic book series...thing is i suck at creating so i was looking for some assistance. i already messaged squirlin on PSN in hopes that he makes/already made a template for his comic book levels so here's hoping he does for me so i can not worry so much about that. but if he can't or refuses i was wondering if someone can help me design the stage and so on? i know this sounds more like a request but it is technically a project i'm working on....i want something to WOW LBPers and such and i really want to be well known....maybe even win a crown...so im trying a lot of things (this being one of them). any assistance would be nice...

Hey shadowcrazy, this thread just got pointed out to me. I thought I got back to your message on this. . . but maybe I didn't. Anyway I didn't plan on giving out my theatre anytime soon. Although maybe I could let you into a blank theatre sometime on OC and that would give you some help. The thing is, like most of my creations, the comic theatre. . . theater? (LOL *blushes-I may have been spelling it wrong all this time!) . . . its a pretty simple construct to make. There are a few invaluable creating skills you can learn by building one on your own that functions smoothly. . . and after you got that done, all you gotta do is fill the pages from then on! So really its just not too hard to make . . . .and you only gotta do it once! So a big part of not sharing my template I guess you could say is quality control. If you have put the effort and care into making a theater construct that runs well, then you would hopefully have the skill and desire to put the same effort in the characters and story as well. I might be paranoid or just wrong here. . . but if all people needed to do to crank out their own comic was to make characters and stick em on pages. . . then LBP might get spammed with low quality and confusing comics. . . and in general people would get tired of seeing them up and around. . much like how a lot of folks wish we could get beyond bomb survivals (it aint gonna happen ! ) And I don't like the thought of seeing my specific construction attached to these stories who's quality I've no control of. Maybe someday somebody looking to get famous as you have yourself noted. . . might create and share an excellent theater construct. Such a thing might indeed make a persons name well known and linked strongly with lbp comicbook theaters. . .and we could see whether or not my fears are well founded or just paranoia. So yeah. there you have it. If you disagree with me here go ahead and argue back, I'd be interested to here some good counterpoints. If enough people disagree, I could be persuaded I guess to make the theater template copyable. . . but you'd really gotta convince me I'm wrong. Edit-P.S. if you're after a crown, this probably isn't the way to go! (7 comics and I haven't gotten MM's attention)

(7 comics and I haven't gotten MM's attention) lol after so much reading i kind of feel akward now since i did end up making it on my own... lol but nah i agree with you...making it yourself is an adventure and boy did i get myself into one...creators block cramming into my skull with the end result hopefully being somewhat decent....had to do this all by scratch and all i can say is now i know how hard it is to make something from nothing... now i guess all i need to do now is think of a story and such...but i guess ill do this some other time, anyways thanks for the advice...it really came in handy EDIT: just had an idea....the LittleBigLand competition to win the crown....it talks of making a level based off a fairytale....and what better way to make a level then an actual book-like level? know what i mean? might wanna give that a shot squirlin? this might be ur chance to shine
