Played it, and enjoyed it, but I am sad to say I understand why the first level has the rating it does. That thing was tough! Everything was fine until the paintball/light puzzle at the very end. It was tough to keep the light up to speed while keeping up with it. Other parts of the level were tough, but this was the biggest offender. You are likely to get many low-rates from the difficulty, since you've opted out of infinite checkpoints (yeah, that whole argument). Also, I am able to get above the level (and stuck) just above and to the left of the entrance.

The little tutorial level was weird, but it looked cool. I'm not sure I'd take the time to find all the stickers and bring them there, but it's a neat idea nonetheless.

The Swamp level was seriously awesome! The pulsing platforms were the coolest thing since AAAlone's Moving Parts. The atmosphere and lighting were fantastic. This one was hard as well, but not as bad as the first. The heart contraption and ending were brilliant.

I gave 5-stars and hearts to the two story levels. The tutorial got 4-stars.

Just played them, very fun levels. Swampa was my favorite by far, terrific stuff. I unfortunately noticed that several magic mouths are censored though. The first two speech bubbles by the queen in the first level, and the first by your 2010 sign in the center of the universe were all censored if i remember correctly. Theres a good list of censored words in the help/tutorials section of the forums, hopefully those will help.2009-12-07 03:30:00

talking about complex
the sticker idea is too complex, too^^
i just wanted to try something new
and when i release an updated version im gonna unlock both levels
so that you can play swampa right from the start cause i want more people to play it

Great job with both levels. Swampa was amazing with all the moving parts. I thought the difficulty was just right, but casual players probably will get frustrated and not finish. Can't wait till next year for chapter 3!2009-12-08 06:48:00

Okay, first off, I don't want this showcase to sink in oblivion because the level is awesome!! Anyone who has not played the level needs to see that they should play it!

I was one of the lucky few who were able to play each of the three levels, and all I have to say is that the levels were all amazing!

The first level, I have to admit, was my least favorite. Although I don't believe it should have been deleted or even given the three stars in which it was left with. The gameplay was totally unique and was a very "bright" idea. *wink, wink* It did get a little frustrating and could have been executed maybe a bit better (i.e: some more instruction in some places and a little bit more light in others), but it was easily 4-star quality. I think the reason the rating was the way it was solely because of those people who played the level and didn't know where to go; they were frustrated, that's all there is to it. Leave it up to the players here and it would have had a better rating, and you would've hopefully kept it! Well back to the level; the level had very good gameplay elements, such as shooting the stars for light and guiding the light down the ramps. It was very nice and I can't forget some good platforming elements! It was also a good length, not too long but not too short. It introduced the story well also. Too bad it's gone though : ( I can't wait for the re-incarnation of the first level!
I gave it :star::star::star::star: and it did have a heart, while it was still out.

Now to "The Center Of The Universe". I personally thought this was a really great idea! I liked the idea of using stickers to progress and unlock levels, but I do see where you are coming from by deleting this one. If you stuck with this, then "Swampa" (your best level yet) would not get the plays it deserved. I liked the design of "The Center Of The Universe" and like I said, the sticker progression concept. I really didn't get how the action stickers or how some of the other sticker switches worked though. Maybe I should have read the tutorial better, I'm not sure. I really did like the appearance and the concept, but I do think this was the single level that had to go. I suggest that if you wanted to keep it, you allow it to house special objects, stickers, keys to minigames and demo levels and such. :star::star::star::star:

Okay, finally to the premier level, "Swampa". This was, in my honest opinion, your best level yet. I was in awe while watching all of the branches sway and creak in the wind. Wonderful attention to detail! You chose the perfect materials, lighting, and gameplay to make this level great. It had to have been a major pain to create this masterpiece, but it sure did pay off! The platforming was also rock solid, just as everything else in the level. I don't think you could have added anything to make this level even the slightest bit better! Absolutely no complaints about this, and it was a good decision to keep it.
I gave this striking level :star::star::star::star::star: and a well-deserved heart! Please keep up the hard work and give us some new levels to play as soon as you can!

Man, phew, that was a lot of writing for me! Hope you read this and take in all of the feedback. Thanks for listening, and everyone..... go play the level, NOW!

I was able to play all 3 levels when you published, I do not understand why you would ever delete the first level. Unlike others, I found part 1 to be pretty easy, although I did find it a bit hard in certain areas, I breezed through the level. By reading what others had said I thought it was going to be VERY hard. Anyways, I urge you to republish it again, maybe even make it easier for others as well? To get the rating up higher.

Swampa, was beautiful. I'd definetly describe it as a "game changer" and by that I mean it has raised the bar for every level. I find Swampa to be one of the best levels I have played to date, it's just magnificent!

I second these sentiments. Any time I join up with someone, I bring them to this level. I just want to share it with all of LBP!

Here's to hoping you put level 1 back up.

I'm very excited to have just finished this level, and let me make it known I have the top 1Player Score!

The visuals of this level were incredible. When I first zoned in and saw purple and yellow, I felt a little put off. Once my eyes adjusted, I definitely saw the beauty.

Everything in the entire level was clear as day, there were no obscure jumps or landings. A few times I auto jumped to a spike zone, and it frustrated me, but it was my fault for being hasty. The platforming element was spot on.

The prize offerings were great - I loved the little lamps spread through the level, and I am definitely going to throw them into a future level, if there's no objection from you.

Extremely happy to have played this level, gave it Five Stars and a Heart. Thanks very much for contributing it to the community. If you get a chance, check out my two levels. I'm really new to the community and I could definitely use the feedback!

Oh Yeah it was absolutely terrible to create this :arg:
imagine these large objects colliding or just touching slightly another object, everything breaks!
also this level took me so long and i've re-build it 3-4 times because the concept didnt work. But today i am pretty happy with it and i wont add anything cause the thermo is about to explode
(wished i could place some more score bubbles but it's impossible)

That's the Idea behind prize-bubbles, isnt it?

Here's to hoping you put level 1 back up.

My next Level on my List is H4H 1 and a fairytale Level.
But both will take some time

Thank you, but did you listen while playing. I really encouraged me to deliver a great sound experience!

So thanks everybody for the great Feedback.
Im kind of scared to make a sequel / prequel without loosing quality

You really should put the first one back up, just unlock both of them. Just because some people found it difficult doesn't mean you should delete all that hard work! Little Big Planet levels are like art, some people will love it while others will hate it. All that matters in the end is that you like it!2009-12-12 02:05:00

I just finished the level and got 3rd

Visually speaking, you did a great job; the "alive" feeling this level gives is awesome (okay, maye all the moving parts may get you puzzled at the beginning, but you get used to it very soon); the level is quite easy, with a good amount of timing and platforming; I didn't like the last section, it somehow has less atmosphere, it almost seems like that the swamp in more "magic" than the sky; my advice would be to hide the star's ropes and to use another cloud for the very last platform.

Overall 4/5 and cool tag.

I played the Swampa level, and I have just one to say:

WW

I will take the bad thing first, and the good things afterwards.

The bad thing:

The only weak thing here, I think, in this level, is the treeman (or whatever he is, and yes, I am assuming he is a man, because he had a beard when I last saw him), that placed the heart there high up in the tree because he did not know what do to with it.
It was the only minor flaw in this level

Now the good things:

That was, with no doubt, the most wonderful level EVER I have played, it is now my favourite level n.1, with no doubt.
You should call yourself TOBSn01, because you ARE the number 1, lol

The atmosphere of the level is stunning, giving the level a mysterious and grandeous touch, which beats any atmosphere I have seen in any level, before.
As if it is not enough, the whole breathtaking level is moving like a real tree in a windy place, making you believe the whole level is alive.

As for the difficulty, I did not think the level was too difficult, (maybe a bit chaotic if you are more than two players that tries to slap the others into the spikes). The only place I had a problem getting through was the start ,maybe, where I had a bit trouble jumping my way down, but it was not really a problem, as I managed to do it after some tries.

Well, the other levels aren't published, so I do not have a so big idea about what the story is, I will just wait for them to come.

:star::star::star::star::star: And a Heart from me!

But for me it was really hard to play... sometimes i thougth, i should quiet the level but i didn't because the level was to impressive.

All in all a great work!

yeah i suck in creating characters

you believe the whole level is alive

mission successful

Thanks again for the Feedback

By the Way:
The Heart from Swampa is at the Queens Headquarter now and she is doing some research, it seems that she found out some information of the location of the next heart. Looks like it located i n some kind of an underwater cave:

Lets hope she can be more precise soon.
