Alright, i was gonna play MW2 but there was an update, afterwards i noticed that my sound was gone.... i turned off my ps3 then on again... but the sound was gone, but only when playing a game.... please help me

i similar thing happened to me. All the music in my level suddenly stopped working when i republished my level. All the sounds work but the music doesnt. Ive tried deleting the old music and replacing it but it doesnt work. However it works fine in create mode.

Nah the ps3 menu sounds work, video as well... just when im playing a game...

Or go to the game then go in options and maybe if theres a sound options or somthing like that?

I know this sounds stupid, but shut down your PS3 for about an hour. Mine stops playing sound when it's been running a little too long. After I give it a rest, everything works fine. If that's not the case, then I'm not sure what's going on

This happened to me in LBP before, but not all of the sound went out. About 75% of them did though, I just never really cared much about it. It was just like the little "DIT" sound that plays when you move the cursor in your pod to select a level or whatever. It works fine now, though
