New switches?
Archive: 24 posts
Not sure if i they're new and only i don't have them, of just new, but when i was watching the Leerdamer update video, i happened to notice a couple of strange switches in the player's popit. Can't really produce a screen shot atm, but i can tell you its at 3:27, pause it then and you should see some new stuff we don't have. (I think) | 2009-12-05 22:41:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
I got a pic: http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn65/warlord_evil/mysterious_switches.png Besides the switches, what is that thing above the bolts? And the thing in the special area, next to the GLT? It might be stuff that is part of a newer creator pack. | 2009-12-05 23:02:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
This is the best picture I could get http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt197/napero7/switches.png?t=1260054492 I guess they have something to do with water Nice find EDIT: Yeah sure, of course I'm always late... | 2009-12-05 23:08:00 Author: napero7 Posts: 1653 |
Water I think. | 2009-12-05 23:10:00 Author: Testudini Posts: 3262 |
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's from the Water beta, which we aren't aloud to discuss. Although I am curious, did MM really make this honest mistake? or did they do it on purpose? My guess is they want to give us little hints as to what is to come. | 2009-12-05 23:16:00 Author: TheFirstAvenger Posts: 787 |
watever it is, i can't wait | 2009-12-05 23:30:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
I'd vote on MM being cruel. They knew we would pick up on it and spark a riot, then the crew will watch as the community tears itself apart from all the possibilities. Or I'm just fearmongering. | 2009-12-05 23:35:00 Author: Grimdour Posts: 142 |
Yeah its the water tool and water switch. When they make a video like this they use their own build of the game wich is more recent the one you play with. Hence why sometimes we see upcoming stuff in their popits. . | 2009-12-06 03:18:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

Actually, what is that thing above the bolts...? I "don't" know what the other things are, either though. | 2009-12-08 20:48:00 Author: KlawwTheClown Posts: 1106 |
Kewl... ...Yeah ^^ | 2009-12-08 21:02:00 Author: KoRnDawwg Posts: 1424 |
That is indeed the water switch and water level controller, but the thing above the bolts isn't in the beta. Didn't the water ad say "PART of a exciting new pack?" this must mean moar tools! let the speculation begin! | 2009-12-08 22:05:00 Author: Deviantgeek Posts: 386 |
Well if my memory serves me correctly there is no section above the connectors so we have no clue what it is apart from that it's yellow. I haven't played the Water Beta but due to people who have at being so subtle and pointing out its not in there I'm hesitant to make this guess but I think it has something to do with either scuba gear or some way of moving underwater quicker. | 2009-12-09 00:02:00 Author: adlingtont Posts: 321 |
Deviantgeek: if you have the water beta. isn't that a violation of the rules. Or do you have an undisclosed friend who told you? | 2009-12-09 04:52:00 Author: thefrozenpenquin Posts: 479 |

Nope. That's not the scuba gear. I have no idea what it is though. Though, like most of the other water tools, it's black and yellow... | 2009-12-09 20:54:00 Author: KlawwTheClown Posts: 1106 |
Since we can freely talk about this.. the answer is!! One is a global water tool that works similar to the global lighting tool. You can raise, lower, change color etc of the water level. (the whole level, not just where you are) The other switch is a water sensor switch, it is active as soon as that switch is underwater. | 2009-12-09 21:10:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |

We don't know. | 2009-12-09 22:11:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
But why would Mm add a new section above connectors? Prehaps it's just another placeholder... or some kind of dev tool... | 2009-12-10 00:09:00 Author: adlingtont Posts: 321 |
On the beta forum it says the nda is now canceled and we can reveal WHATEVER we want about water. | 2009-12-10 01:53:00 Author: Deviantgeek Posts: 386 |

Or is that one on another page? | 2009-12-10 12:14:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
So which one is the bubble generator? Or is that one on another page? It is on a different page. If I recall correctly, it is grouped with the character enhancements as is the scuba gear station. | 2009-12-10 12:35:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
So it is new? Cool, i found something! lol, ever since i saw the first video with an "upcoming tool" i always check the new videos for details like that, and it seems it sometimes pays off/ | 2009-12-12 19:57:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
