I'm also a bit confused as to this. A challenge for hearts actually ENCOURAGES H4H behaviour, as players would be wanting more hearts to win. Otherwise, this seems like a bit of a silly contest, as its not really the author hearts that matter, its the idea that your hard work in making levels go appreciated by others.

Yeah I really don't think this is a good idea. With H4H, and the abuse of the cool pages, with the republishing glitch/bomb survivals. And even with levels how people are moderating the good ones like what with happened to mdaj and Steve_big_guns

Sorry... I have to agree that this isn't a great idea and can't see this lasting very long. We don't really show off our hearts here to be quite honest.

Honestly, I don't see the obsession with author hearts. There are plenty of people within the community that have gone out of there way to get many author hearts. Jiri, is a great example of this, he's copied other peoples levels without giving them credit, and has republished a few of them numerous times to get attention on the Cool Pages.
