Video after text... After we revealed the reason behind the WipEout HD delay was that it failed "the epilepsy tests so much that it has to be re-engineered" and Sony's eventual response that it takes "consumer safety very seriously", the game is finally upon us. We've played the review code to death that Sony passed along a while ago but we've now got WipEout HD installed on our PS3s at home via PSN. One thing we noticed though was a very serious health warning that you confirm you've read by pressing 'X' on the pad: "Always play in a well lit environment. Take regular breaks, 15 minutes every hour. Discontinue playing if you experience dizziness, nausea, fatigue or have a headache. "Some individuals are sensitive to flashing or flickering lights or geometric shapes and patterns, may have an undetected epileptic condition man may experience epileptic seizures when watching television or playing videogames. "Consult your doctor before playing videogames if you have an epileptic condition and immediately should you experience any of the following symptoms whilst playing; altered vision, muscle twitching, other involuntary movement, loss of awareness, confusion and / or convulsions." Now that's a serious warning not to even think about playing WipEout HD if you feel in any way ill as you're propelled around a rollacoaster track in a hovering craft at speeds the RAC haven't thought of yet. We all know most (if not all) games carry health warnings and advice on taking regular breaks but we've never come across one as serious and doctor-like as this one. It makes us more wary to say the least, what about you? Anyway, we're off to play some more. Wish us luck! OH MY GOD THIS GAME IS DEVOURING MY LIFE!! I'm a long-time WipEout fan, but due to lack of PSP, I sadly had to leave the series at Fusion Then upon downloading this, I don't think I've stopped playing it! The visuals and audio are absolutely incredible, and the tracks, ships and general atmosphere are pure WipEout awesomeness! Currently on the Headrush event, and those medals are becoming real hard to get >.< Those reviewers weren't kidding when they said there was a steep learning curve... It's true for the whole series, but I guess I'm just out of practice Phenominal game, and I reccommend it to anyone.

I tried it once. I liked it alot and was planning to spend alot of time playing it. Then a friend got me the lbp beta and I haven't touched it since. I'm not complaining obviously, but I'm looking forward to some racing once I get the chance :hero: How's the online? (if anyone here has tried it)

Tbh most reviews have been gret for this game very high scores indeed and with metacritic showing 88/100 so far and users rating it 95, I might just have to purchase it after my disappointment at buying PAIN .

what's pain like why so bad? and yea me 2 Pain is well literally one level with loads of hazars and all you do is catapulte a dude into the hazards for point, funny but it wears off after 5 minutes and all you get is like one dude and one level for everything else you have to pain. i seriously regret spending it, not sure what other people thought of it though.
